Definitely loli I don't even think Adam ever mentioned watching anime. Although I remember reading in the FBI report one of there neighbours saying Adam liked "Japanese Techno Music" (probably nightcore the fucking gimp)

In the chat logs of Adam's chats with The Stranger he mentions the anime Cromartie High School.

Adam liked some anime. He really liked Gundam 0080 as a kid, which he frequently alluded to, and his interest in Gundam semed to go past that as well (in the photos of his house, you can see a ton of Gundam figures, along with the video game "Dynasty Warriors: Gundam". I definitely remember seeing some Gundam music is one of his YouTube music playlists as well, and some other anime-esque stuff here and there.
Also in the photos of his house, you can see a DVD for "The End of Evangelion". I forget if he had any other anime DVDs besides that one and the Gundam one, but I believe there was more Gundam then just 0080. The photos are pretty low quality, so it's a bit hard to tell. (Sidenote: it makes no sense for him to own that DVD despite no investment in the show. However, towards the end of page 30 of this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] he seems to imply that he got into Gundam when he was 10, AKA 2002. That's when the Evangelion DVD came out. So, he was probably just looking for new mecha anime releases. Evangelion is also infamously mature, and I remember seeing him mention once that he enjoyed Gundam 0080 for how mature it was, so that could have added to it as well.)
In one of the reports where they interview people who knew Adam, one of the people who was in the NHS tech club at the same time as him said that they used to screen anime there, and that he was somehow involved. I don't really feel like finding this again right now, but it would be in Book 7 (https://sandy-hook.info/reports/cfs-1200704559-07/). There's a guide somewhere to what's in which parts of this report.

Here's one photo of it: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
You can notice it in a few of the photos here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Most notably in photos 283 and 286, though it should be in a couple others. I'm just quickly looking back, I thoroughly looked through these photos a while ago.
The spine is partially obscured so you can mostly only really see the part of it with the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" logo, but I own that same DVD and it is indeed the one for "The End of Evangelion". You can see the full spine for yourself in picture 3 of this Ebay listing: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Since that listing will likely be bought and go away at some point, I have archived the listing here for posterity (although you can't close-up on the other photos in the archived page): [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Also, now clue how I forgot about the ".hack//SIGN" DVDs when writing that post. I'm just really used to them now, and they're associated with a video game anyway. It was finding out he owned those which first got me interested in Adam, actually, after the jarring experience of Googling "Adam Lanza" for the first time and seeing a photo of one of those .hack// DVDs (stupidly, as expected from police) laid next to 3 dudebro shooter video games Adam owned, in an evidence photo used by some popular article.

While I'm here, I should mention that some .hack music was in his YouTube music playlist as well, furthering the likelihood that he did indeed enjoy some anime music.

Handwriting is not Adam's. It's consistent with Ryan's so most likely belonged to him.

Isn't there footage of him playing flowers on ddr supernova too? I always feel uneasy playing that song because it's associated with him in my mind.

I’ve never noticed their handwriting/differences between their handwriting but I’d believe that it’s Ryan’s, he was definitely pretty nerdy (though so was Adam obviously, so it could really go either way). Maybe the pornographic CD the investigators found also could have been Ryan’s? Embarrassing…

What’s the significance of anime to that song? I certainly wouldn’t know as much about DDR as you do, but looking into it, seems to be just another obscure Japanese song made for DDR. If anything it just fits into that whole "Japanese techno music" thing with Adam (which makes it more likely that he particularly enjoyed anime music).

Good catch. I poked around on remywiki and realized I had it mixed up with baby's tears. They're on the same mix, but only baby's tears was ever used in an anime. The songs that aren't in english blur together in my mind since I'm not distracted by the lyrics.
On the topic of Ryan's handwriting; I don't think I've ever seen it, but the writing on the cd looks neater than any of Adam's I've seen. Do we know what age Adam was when his last available handwriting sample was written?

I could maybe look into that another time, but I also don’t see Adam doing anything like that past 2007 or so. Which was when Ryan was still living with him and Nancy…

Well, Adam didn't directly admit to watching Anime, but he did recommend an anime series to his online friend..
