Salvador Ramos on May 24, 2022 committed the deadliest school shooting in Texas killing 21 (19 students and 2 teachers) he surprisingly isn't in the Columbine Effect on Wikipedia. He was more acquainted with Luka Magnota a 1 lunatic 1 icepick shock gore video. Salvador Ramos was born 5 years after Columbine. Ethan Crumbley on November 30, 2021 committed the deadliest highschool shooting since the Parkland and Santa Fe shootings in 2018 which were still in the Columbine Effect wikipedia page in that Cruz watched pumped up kicks videos glorifying columbine and Pagortiz had a black trenchcoat (small but impacting details). Crumbley had no evidence of Columbine interest along with Ramos. The FBI's Ripples of Columbine video explains that kids born after Columbine are citing it and committing shootings which is true like Kerch and the recent Double Homicide in Perry Iowa but in reality it's different. My three takes on this are that the 1999 Columbine Phenomenon is getting old which makes less kids these days interested in it like ask a kid today about 9/11 and they don't have as much recollection as people who were alive back then. The second is shooters will have different role models based on what they want like Ramos and Crumbley both wanted notoriety and infamy so they instead idolized Luka Magnota (Ramos) and Dahmer (Crumbley) The third and saddest take is that school shootings are so common that Columbine isn't as "revolutionary" with Gen Z shooters because they will get inspired by the recent big shooting like Columbine to Virginia Tech to NIU to Sandy Hook to Parkland to Santa Fe to Oxford to Uvalde and so on. EDIT: both Ramos and Crumbley showed signs of animal cruelty which is different then the majority of school shooters inspired by columbine which might be interesting to look at too. Hope you enjoyed my take on Gen Z being less inspired by columbine.

I feel like Columbine being eclipsed by Stoneman Douglas also played a part in the fall of Columbine's relevance among school shooters. Now they're being forced to branch out, find more people to copy.

Your line about Columbine not being as "revolutionary" as other shootings is probably correct, which would lead to less school shootings happening in general. For instance, if Christchurch didn't happen, then considering that Payton Gendron wrote about considering murder-suicide when he was hospitalized prior to his redpilling, he might've tried to follow in Harris and Klebold's footsteps. Instead, he tried to emulate Brenton Tarrant.

Imagine being so stupid to idolize Luka Fagnotta. Ramos was gay as fuck.

magnotta is in fact one of the most respectable killers and my favorite non-mass killer.

He leave a lot of online activity and actively participate in his online manhunt.

He also did a lot of funny things like post the same videos that were made against him looking for him for murdering animals or making a blog talking and asking about 1 lunatic 1 icepick when he hadn't even made the video.

My favorite act of Magnotta is when he angered the YouTube community by creating a bunch of accounts on the site just to posting videos asking for ban family guy because according to him it was not for children.

There isn't any concrete evidence that he "idolized" Magnotta. In chat messages between Salvador and someone else he brought up the 2019 documentary made about Magnotta in which he said he wanted to be "infamous" in some way on the level that Magnotta was. Him wanting to have infamy around the same level that Magnotta does isn't a direct indication of him "idolizing" Magnotta.
