He started speeding it up wow what has youtube shorts done to our youth. Some guy in the comments said its actually relatively painless when done right because it presses down on the arteries so you pass out but this dumbass just tightened it to much. You see that in hanging videos to some of them are drawn out and like 5-10 minutes long but others they black out in seconds.

If done from a sharp drop yes. That's how it's done in Japan where hangings still the main form of capital punishment they have a sort of like trap door you stand on and it falls out from under you [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] But most of the time when people hang themselves there doing it from a chair or a stool so it doesn't have the same violent impact needed to snap your neck
