Sixteen years

16 whole years. That's a pretty long time. I wonder if they thought that they would still be discussed 16 years later. There are a lot of questions but not so many answers.

It's the 20th where I live. It feels like only yesterday that we were acknowledging the tenth anniversary.

I definitely think they knew they would be discussed this long.

Same feeling here. Its a bit curious, as recaling the 10th anniversay feels like it was yesterday. But making my school shooting movie (which was filmed between June 2007 and April 2008) feels like a lifetime away.

I first discovered the Columbine massacre in 2006. Life happens so fast...

I wasn't aware of Columbine until last year, but i'm not an American. I do remember my friend bringing it up once back in high school 4-5 years ago, we talked about it then and never spoke about it again, until i stumbled on it after the school shooting outside Seattle and got interested.

So for me, it's so hard to put the time in perspective. For me, it could just as well happened last year. Even though I'm in my early 20's.

Then I realized the fact that people born back in 1999 can get their driver's license this year...
