In America, if you are born in August or September you have the option to start school when you are 4 (you have to turn 5 by September 30) or your parents can wait and start you the following year. This is why Rachel Scott was older than Dylan yet he was a grade ahead of her. Dylan's parents started him when he was 4 while Rachel's made her wait until the following year.

It's kinda interesting that Daniel R and Corey's birthdays are only a day apart, along with Rachel and Isaiah.

And to think that on Dylan 20th birthday another NBK happened...
Also I've always wondered how Erics last birthday went like.I mean,damn,just some days from the final act of his life.Prob the most depressive day for him.

Yeah same thing in Poland, only here tehy take your year of birth. and people born in December-Janury get the choice. I went to HS in the same class with a guy who was 1 year younger than I was, but he was born in december and his parents had him start school early.
