Eric's Poem?

I'm curious about something, because I'm getting the vibe that the tumblr community kind of bastardizes things and makes stuff up, but I saw there was supposedly a sweet poem found on Eric's computer about falling in love?

I only ask because there is always that discussion about Dylan being the love lorn sad guy and Eric just loving guns and wanting to have sex with anything that moves but the poem is very sad.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong! But I am almost certain that the poem was something that Eric had just found online then saved on his computer, and that he hadn't actually written it. But either way it still makes me question why he had saved it.

Why big bad Eric F*ing Harris was looking at love poetry raises some serious questions. Maybe he was going to use it as a lure for some poor girl, OR maybe it just hit home with him having feelings for someone he knew he couldn't have.
