I did a reverse image search and the first instance of that image is found on Oct 30, 2016 on Tumblr (which implies that it should be taken with a grain of salt)
the picture with "Eric" lying face down on the snow comes from a website about the effects of hypothermia and it's first found on Nov 24, 2014...
both can be regarded as fake.

the one of the guy on a snowboard clearly has a photoshopped image of one of eric's posed pictures and has it imposed on top
