A friend of Nancy's gave this information the FBI (page 342 of part one). A couple of people also told investigators that Adam was into anime and manga in high school so that might explain how he ended up being interested in Japanese music.
Some people said that Adam loved music when he was younger and played the saxophone but he seemed to show less interest in it as he got older because his forum friend explained to the FBI that he "showed some interest in music but only if it related in some way to spree killing or mass murder." This would go along with him getting into The Dickies because of a movie that he liked or getting into Japanese techno because of an interest in Japanese entertainment.

According to Sandy Hook Lighthouse's Reed Coleman Adam Lanza (as Kaynbred) expressed an interest in:
Flogging Molly The Dickies
There are CSP photos of CDs belonging to these groups in the report.
PS- if you know a Sandy Hook "Truther", feel free to mock them as the insignificant pissant that they are.

I wonder if Adam was more a video game soundtracks type of person as in he mostly listened to video game music rather than what most people listen to. I know I was that type myself from early-mid teens where I would either just listened to video game soundtracks and ambient music(Aphex Twin especially).

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], no, sir. I have contributed small tidbits to his site, but I am not CW Wade.
And a big sorry to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Didn't realize Reed Coleman was a hot topic around here. If he did steal your work I hope you are duly credited.

You're right in thinking that. The YouTube user fuckcomments is speculated to be him there were a couple comments on several cannibal corpse songs. Obviously it depends on if you think fuckcomments is him or not. Personally, I think yes. The evidence is too strong to *not* be him.
Mind you, Cannibal Corpse is a near opposite of The Dickies

He was into 70s and 80s music like The Dickies or Modern Talking. Apart from that, he liked Flogging Molly and Cannibal corpse. Shortly after the SH shooting someone spread a rumor that Adam was obsessed with Taylor Swift and liked her album called Red from 2012, though there is no any proof that he actually did. We have no screenshots of his comments and conversation where he would bring Taylor up .. literally nothing, besides those few of articles that mention it.

That would be very based if true. Taylor Swift is great. Red wasn't that good in my opinion, Fearless is better. But it's probably just BS.
All that aside, he didn't have a very robust taste in music in my opinion, or at least we just don't have a ton to go off of. There's only the songs he linked in Forum posts, music videos he allegedly commented on, and stuff that we know he listened to because he played DDR. And this of course raises some interesting questions. Is it safe to assume that he "liked" a lot of this music in the first place? I'm sure there are some instances where he explicitly stated that he liked a certain song or musician. However, commenting on a music video or linking to one in a specific context isn't really an indication that he liked it or listened to that artist on a regular basis. For example, IIRC, he linked to two "Modern Talking" music videos in separate incidents on the old forum and he said something sarcastic about the way they looked. It didn't really give me the impression that it was something he actually would listen to in the car or something. But I could be wrong, I'd have to go look at the posts again.

I feel like he would have liked The Kinks as well with 90's era Radiohead and Weezer. I can imagine him liking the song Creep by Radiohead and Pinkerton era Weezer.

He had some DDR songs saved on his computer. Such as Flowers by Terra & Xepher by Tatsh
Also he probably liked certain J-techno artists like Ken Ishii or Takkyu Ishino
