“As Harris had posted on his website that he possessed explosives, Guerra wrote a draft affidavit, requesting a search warrant of the Harris household. The affidavit also mentioned a suspicion of Harris being involved in an unsolved pipe bomb case in February 1998. The affidavit was never filed.”

Anyone got any info on this ?

The strongest showing of law enforcement interest came in February 1998, when a pipe bomb was found near a bike path in suburban Jefferson County. On a tip, police focused on Harris and prepared the file to use in obtaining a warrant to search his family's home.

Not needed now sorry.

IF they had followed through and seriously considered Eric, Columbine likely would have been stopped. Mad

Another instance of JeffCo not taking this seriously.

It was probably another reason E and D got so angry about being arrested, because they were getting away with so much, Eric especially.

How far was the bike path from Eric's house? I'm interested in knowing how, why, and when Eric and/or Dylan went there and lost one of their pipe bombs. Were they out conducting tests?
