I never liked this song nor really saw any connection with CHS while listening to it. I use to work at a bar that was split into two sections, one side was for alcohol and adults and the other was a soda bar for 16 year olds and that is one of the songs that would constantly play in their section and it never struck me as Columbine sounding, aside for the fact there is a part about running from bullets.

It could have been on repeat in the angsty/edgy teen section.
I do like the song, but after a while it grates on the ears.

Also can I go on record as saying that having a bar housing both drunk adults and edgy teens just seems like a HUGE clusterf*ck waiting to happen.

That song really does nail a certain teen whininess though. I love it and I normally hate stuff like that.
