| What US states have never had a mass shooting? I cannot find anything for Delaware (the oldest state), and Rhode Island and Providence Plantations (the official full state name). |

| More than 4 murdered (excluding the perpetrator) and where guns were used is typically called a "mass shooting" according to the FBI. So technically, Randy Stair committed triple homicide, not mass murder. | |

This is rather arbitrary IMO. The number of killed and injured shouldn't be an element of the definition. We don't have a minimal number of people for someone to commit genocide or a terrorist act. it's the intent that matters. | |
