I was refering to the fact that there is a shooting incident in a school every 3 or 4 days or so, not deniying that mass shootings happen outside the USA.

A teenage boy wounded in the latest school shooting was released Wednesday from a hospital, while a 16-year-old classmate was still fighting for her life in critical condition.

A day after the eruption of gun violence in one of the sleepy community’s schools, the few residents who ventured out amid a snowstorm blanketing the East Coast praised a school resource officer who responded inside of 60 seconds and fired off a shot at the attacker.

It was not yet clear whether Rollins took his own life or was killed by the officer’s bullet, nor was it clear how the 14-year-old boy was wounded. But St. Mary’s County Sheriff Tim Cameron credited Deputy First Class Blaine Gaskill with preventing any more loss of life.

Cameron said Gaskill, a six-year veteran with SWAT team training, responded within a minute and fired his weapon simultaneously with a final shot fired by Rollins. The officer was unharmed.

Authorities didn’t release a motive, but said they believe the girl and Rollins previously had some type of relationship. The girl’s family has identified her as Jaelynn Willey, one of nine siblings.

A spokeswoman for the University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center said Wednesday that the 16-year-old girl remained in critical condition.

The 16-year-old girl who was shot in Tuesday morning’s high school shooting in Great Mills, Maryland, has been taken off life support.
Melissa Willey announced Thursday night during a news conference at University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center that her daughter Jaelynn Willey would be taken off life support later that evening.

"As of now Jaelynn is still on life support, but she will not make it,” Melissa Willey said. “We will be taking her off life support this evening. She is brain dead. She has no life left in her."

The student gunman in last week’s Maryland high school shooting fatally shot himself in the head, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Police said Rollins shot himself after he was confronted by school resource officer Blaine Gaskill in a hallway as he continued walking through the school after the shooting began.

Gaskill also simultaneously fired one non-fatal shot, which struck the weapon in Rollins’ hand.
According to a student witness, Rollins held the gun to his head and Gaskill ordered him to drop it.

nah, i added him to Highscore/LoserInfo rather then create an article on him. An hero is only applied for shock when the shooter does a lulzy thing that gets reactions. almost all of us are against shooting up schools and william seemed like he was too but look what happened.

newer users add it to everyone who does and people say before becoming an hero but to get the golden ipod and get an hero of the year there must be lulz

No, it's specifically someone who kills themselves and it's a big deal on the internet, such as a mass murderer or celebrity or someone like Amanda Todd.
