This is actually a pretty dangerous prank. I think someone had gotten killed during one.

Yeah, the one in which someone died happened over a lost bet in a Call of Duty game.

Yeah someone did get killed pretty recently over someone playing Call of Duty: WWII getting swatted. Worst part about it was that the guy who got killed wasn't even a part of it. Two "MLG" teams were hosting a casual tournament where the prize was ~$1.50; the match led to an argument between the two teams and one team member (later convicted) threatened to swat a person on the other team. The person on the other team told the later convicted guy to go ahead and swat him and gave him an address. This address as it turned out to be was just random address that happened to belong to a father of two kids in Kansas (the guy who dared the perp to swat him actually lived in California), who was accidentally killed when the SWAT team came to his house on the pretext of a hostage situation. Thankfully the piece of sh*t who did the swatting is facing multiple felonies currently and is going to jail for a looooooonnnnngggg time.

People who play Halo are probably more likely to get involved in swatting.

I read about that. I also agree that it is stupid and dangerous AF.

Yes, I mean I am squarely on team Kyle Kashuv but that was an asinine thing to do. He's still really young, went through a trauma and I feel like he is doing what he inherently thinks is right so that was a crap thing to do to him.

I actually just came across a Tumblr post where someone was asking the "Cruzer" fangirls which one of them had called and gotten Hogg's house swatted.

Although this is pretty dangerous I will admit it's funny.
