| Wow, I am French and I didn't even know about Nanterre! This is awful, but what the shooter wrote is exactly what I think is the main reason for most shootings, and what makes me sometimes, only for a minute, envy the shooters because I can relate to that wish:
"I will become a serial killer, a mad killer. Why? Because I am frustrated and I do not want to die alone, because I have had a shitty life. I want to feel powerful and free just once" |

Tomorrow I will see if I can find more information in French medias and translate or summarize it for you. |

| I think the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy shooting is remembered, albeit soley as "that school shooting in the middle east that WASN'T terrorism related." _________________ "If opportunities for role fulfilment fall far short of the demand by those capable of filling roles, and having expectations to do so, only violence and disruption of social organization can follow. Individuals born under these circumstances will be so out of touch with reality as to be incapable even of alienation. Their most complex behaviors will become fragmented. Acquisition, creation and utilization of ideas appropriate for life in a post-industrial cultural-conceptual-technological society will have been blocked." - John B. Calhoun
Everything is going wrong.... Farmers are generally on the verge of ruin. Trade is always bad. The Church is in danger. The House of Lords isn’t worth a dozen years’ purchase. The throne totters. - Anthony Trollope

I think the suspected motive was terrorism. Because it`s Azerbaijan. They have problems with several countries, but about Fardi - he wasn`t terrorist. | |
