In less than 30 days, this is the third death case in which the victim has torn out body parts. On November 19, adolescents Janaína Cristina Brito Conceição, 16, and Gabriela Alves Nunes, 13, were murdered and beheaded in the Nova Divineia community at IAPI.

Police suspect Chucky was killed by drug traffickers in the area identified as Binha and Da Ruga, after having committed robberies in that area. "Robbed in the area of others, the traffic does not forgive", emphasizes researcher Eduardo Serra of the 8th Precinct (CIA-Simões Filho).

Nickname

According to the Delegacia de Homicídios, Chucky would be the right arm of drug dealer Joao Teixeira Leal, Jão, one of the biggest traffickers in Pirajá, Marechal Rondon and surrounding areas.

In March 2007, the Jão extermination group, composed of seven men, was captured by Gerce. The gang would have committed a triple homicide in Alto do Cabrito in 2006. The victims were Junê Péricles dos Santos Santana, 40, Igor Leonardo Cruz da Silva, 26, and Joílson dos Santos Santana.
 
Involved in drug trafficking, Junê, his companion Igor and her son, Joilson, were killed on the street - a crime witnessed by family witnesses who gave police the first clues about the perpetrators.

In the community of Recanto da Lagoa, near the place where the body was found, the residents are frightened. One of them said that Chucky was hiding there.

"We were shocked at the crime scene. The guys must have known where he was and they came to get him. We had never seen him around here and only now did we know that it was dangerous, "says the boy, who lived there four years ago. He says the community lives in a peaceful climate.
