Obscure videos of the shooting that we haven't seen yet

The first thing that probably would come to your mind is the surveillance videos inside the freshman building. Or the body cam video that one of the officers recorded on that day.

However, almost every student in that school had a camera of some sort with them at the time and were most likely recording. Though we barely see all of them. Most were either deleted and are now lost forever, kept private with the person who recorded it, sent to news stations which showed only parts of it, or were actually uploaded to the internet, but barely any people have actually seen them.

A main example of this would have to be Carlos Rodriguez, a student vlogger who filmed mostly everything that happened. A news station aired parts of the actual video, but I still have yet to see the original video.

This thread will be dedicated towards finding any obscure video footage recorded by students.

This video is from a classroom on the third floor and shows Joaquin Oliver jokingly hiding in a closet after the students here what turned out to be gunshots (you can hear them in the vid). The people in this classroom went out to the hallway after the alarm went off a few off them were subsequently killed after Cruz arrived at the third floor hallway. Overall, really haunting footage.

Footage taken from classroom 1214 where 6 people were shot with 2 of them (Nicholas Dworet and Helena Ramsey) being fatally wounded.

Additional footage taken from inside room 1214 (first floor), Helena Ramsey's body can be seen at around 00:21. Athletic director Chris Hixon's body can also be very briefly seen in the hallway at 00:41.

This news clip shows one of the videos I've already posted but also shows several other videos recorded by students that I have not been able to find in their entirety.

This is another video I found that is fairly obscure, its some students hiding inside their class trying to stay quiet. You can here several gunshots near the end of the video.

There is also this video that I uploaded on my channel that takes place in that same classroom. They sounded so afraid to open the door for police.

Another example of news media not showing us the full thing. This time at around 2:36, a video that I have not seen yet appears to show a group of students in a hallway evacuating. I dunno which building it is, but it doesn't look like the freshman building to me.

Here's a video I found that gives a pretty comprehensive look at the campus. The video was made after the shooting too.

Jesus christ poor kid, shouldve stayed in that closet, might saved his life. What made them leave the classroom? Especially if they were hearing gunshots, leaving the class wouldve been seriously dangerous considering they ended up in Cruz's path, even Cruz fired through the windows of the classrooms down in the first floor, I wouldve taken my chances in the classroom rather than roaming the hallways.

Here is video outside the school after the roads were opened back up.

Here is a video from a student after him and his friends evacuated. They were talking about how there was possibly more than two shooters and that apparently the school knew something was going to happen.

They probably imagined that the shots were coming from multiple shooters, like we saw at Columbine. The teachers talking about "code reds" could also just be poor timing.

Charlie Minn is the director of “Parkland: Inside Building 12”, a graphic, two-hour retelling of the Valentine’s Day massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

The show opened Friday in Davie to a small, private audience that included survivors.

Minn convinced students to share their videos with him. He originally didn’t blur any of the videos, saying people should see the full impact. But after a parent advocacy group complained, he decided to blur the images of the deceased victims. The second half of the film profiles the victims.

The Miami Herald reports survivor Maddy Wilford, who was shot twice, spoke during a town hall type meeting after the screening."


Anybody know where to find this? Sounds like a lot of videos that hasn't been seen by the public yet.

It’s supposed to have a limited theatrical run starting Oct.26 , someone will likely post it online around then

He was confirmed to be caught on multiple surveillance cameras, but I honestly think there isn't any video of him actually doing the shooting that was recorded by someone in the school. Mostly because almost everyone who was shot was in their classrooms and just getting shot through the door/small window on the door so even if someone was recording the shooting they wouldn't be able to be catch him on camera from their position. Additionally the all the people shot in the first floor hallway were either caught by surprise and killed relatively quick(so they probably wouldn't be filming him) or were running into the building to try to stop Cruz (Feis and Dixon) which would also put them in a position were they wouldn't be recording.

Although I could maybe see some people on the third floor who were in the hallway might have been recording since they had time to figure out that something was going on and they would've been able to see him in person (versus just getting shot through the door/window) so its plausible.

Honestly, if any surveillance video from inside building 12 does get shown, I think it would probably be video of him on the second floor, as it doesn't show anyone getting shot or anything. Just him shooting into 2 classrooms (where no one got hit).

Will it be released when the case is closed?

Just found more video footage of students walking into a classroom after the shooting. Gonna upload it to my channel in a little bit.

Does anyone know if there was any video taken at the Walmart at the day of the shooting? Besides the surveillance video, of course. There were many students seeking shelter at that Walmart.

I looked for a while but haven't been able to find any. It's possible that there definitely is some out there though since there were a bunch of video taken by students evacuating the school and walking off the campus so they may have been recording their walk from the school to the Walmart.

I want to say that it is, but then again, if this was filmed during the shooting, I am pretty sure everyone in that room would be panicking/hiding, including the person filming. If this was filmed after the shooting, then why would they keep that desk there? I'm just not sure if this was really filmed at Stoneman Douglas, or if it was just some kid at another school trying to make it look like his desk has a bullet hole in it.

Found this video on Twitter. It's not necessarily a video of the shooting itself (Even if the last few moments are taken February 14th). It's more like short videos of what classroom 1213 looked like before the shooting. You can also see some what would be future victims here too.

I know there are screengrabs of Cruz fleeing the school after the shooting but do we have any screencaps of him approaching the school beforehand?

I just found this video. Unfortunately it has this stupid watermark plastered right in front of it. Though in one frame you can see that it was originally uploaded by BBC Brasil. Can anyone try and find the original video?
