Problem with suicide photos

After reviewing the photos, it's clear that Eric's shotgun is under his right leg. This doesn't make sense to me, if he used it to kill himself. We know Dylan's body was moved by SWAT to check for weapons (pretty standard procedure), but there's no mention of moving Eric's body. I looks like it slumped over to the left after the gunshot, but that's it. Does anyone know why the shotgun is under his leg?

Probably from his body jumping back after he shot himself

Both bodies were moved when the SWAT entered the library, that's why it was mentioned they booby-trapped themselves.
Based on how Harris shot himself, he either was in an upright position till he was moved, or he slumped over after the shot.
