From Denver's Channel 9 News, here is an interesting video (from 2019) about the Columbine football team of 1999 (the school year after 4/20) that made it all the way to the state championship:
We tend to be pretty hard on Columbine's jocks in general (and football players in particular) on this board, but it is undeniably true that the championship run boosted morale at a time when the school and the surrounding community badly needed it.
