Dylan And Eric's Trouser leg Boot-Tucking shenanigans

Somebody put me in my place if this has been talked about already but i have noticed that in both "Radioactive clothing" and "Hitman for hire"
Dylan and Eric both have their left trouser leg Un-tucked from their boot and their right trouser leg tucked into their boot its easier to see on Dylan's grey pants
Especially in that scene outside you know the one at first i thought it was just Dyl being messy or it had somehow worked its way out
But theyre both doing it, on two different days at the very least. so, what does it mean? was this a movement at the time? at any time? whats the dealio

Funny to notice that. One would guess it's to be transgressive, to be edgy, doing things other than one is supposed to, but would be interesting to find out if there's a movie where that's done or something.

I noticed that as well. But I thought it was an "accident". The two trouser legs were in the boots and one would have slipped out or something

Yeah, I'd have to agree that it was likely to be transgressive. But it's kind of a silly thing to do isn't it? I can't recall any movies that they watched where characters do this.

Yeah it is. Imagine it coming about as wanting to wear boots, not knowing whether to tuck or not, and deciding on half and half to be different.  But it becomes interesting if it was an homage to something.

Yea because I tuck my pants/trousers in my boots and sometimes one (Or maybe sometimes both) of them just slip/fall down

Like if you reached upwards or something, and you have tucked one in less/more than the other, and one slips out, it is however weird that in the suicide photos it is the same, and they both do it in the exactly same way in said suicide photos, probably a homage to something they watched and never mentioned.
