E/D Tribute Videos

While I'm trying to get used of this place (because I'm very shy) and read old posts, I was wondering what do you guys think about the tribute videos of Dylan and Eric that Youtube banned?, maybe this was debated in an old forum or even here before but I specially want to know if you think is unfair and should be general because there are other tribute videos about other killers, you think that youtube may allow the people upload those kind of things, even though for some other people is offensive?, or that they are absolutely right about banned them?. Sorry if this is something that was very debated before, I am new here and I just found opinions on youtube about it that are not very good.

Personally, I don't think it is fair that they ban tribute videos for Dylan and Eric but allow tribute videos for people like Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy and Osama bin laden.

If YouTube doesn't want to allow tribute videos or murderers, the same rules should apply for everyone, not just Dylan and Eric.

I recall back before YouTube started to crack down on the tribute videos, and the videos that had so called "glorification" of the events. I had a channel myself with raw videos from that were released to the public such as Hitmen for Hire, Rampart Range, Radioactive Clothing et cetera. However my channel still got pulled along with the rest. In no way did I condone or glorify the acts contained therein.

I don't think that the videos regardless of their content if the people are "worshipers" of Eric & Dylan should be taken down either. I think that people should be allowed to form their own opinion upon a subject without condemnation. Whether that means lionizing the actions of the killers or condemning them.

Banning any kind of video is a form of censorship and we are supposed to have something called the 1st amendment. The "serial killer" industry is just that -- an industry -- so cracking down on "fan" sites that give away content for free seems to have more to do with capitalism and eliminating competition for the "paid goods" than reducing crime or maintaining morals.
