This a still from an ABC news report on the Dec. 13, 1999 screening of the Basement Tapes.

This was the screening for members of the local media, and it was always the one that Randy & Judy Brown attended.

The night before, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, screened the Tapes to the families of the victims.

The Brown's went when the tapes were being screened for a handful of media outlets. They did not intrude when the families were watching them. But yes, they did barge in.
