Pretty bizarre...the boy's dad stated that he and the killer had a good relationship prior to this, had been neighbors for eight years, and had even had dinner together the night before with no signs of any problems. This case has been politicized a lot by both sides of the spectrum. But I'm wondering whether it's a case of the killer having a psychotic break, given how random and out of nowhere it was, and how he was described as "pacing and frantic" immediately following the shooting. So far, there is no information I can find in the media about the killer's background or any mental health history or criminal history.
