Secondary casualties of mass murderers?

Columbine:Anne Marie Hochalter’s mother committed suicide 6 months after the massacre,and Greg Barnes,a 17 year old student who had witnessed the killing of Dave Sanders,took his own life in May of 2000.Austin Eubanks,injured in the library during the shooting,developed an opioid addiction that he later overcame,and later became a public speaker,speaking out about subjects such as recovery and addiction.He died of an accidental Heroin overdose on May 18th,2019.

Parkland:On March 13th,2019,13 months after the shooting,Sydney Aiello,19,committed suicide while struggling to attend college.Her friend Meadow Pollack had been killed during the shooting and she herself had been treated for PTSD and survivors guilt. Less than a week after her death,a 16 year old male survivor of the shooting took his own life as well.

Marc Lépine's sister Nadia overdosed, and his mother called it a suicide. In all likelihood, being the sister of a killer was one of the contributing factors that drove her to it. A former student at École Polytechnique, Sarto Blais, hung himself in his apartment bathroom. His suicide note read, in part, that he "could not accept that as a man I had been there and hadn’t done anything about it." Blais’s parents killed themselves within a year of his suicide. (All in all, almost a quarter of the people he killed were by driving them to killing themselves, the highest post-attack lethality I know of.)

Jeremy Richman, father of Sandy Hook victim Avielle Richman, killed himself in 2019. His wife said he "succumbed to the grief that he could not escape."

Vladislav Igorevich Roslyakov's mother tried killing herself when she learned her son was the shooter, but was unsuccessful.

Does Sol Pais count? 20 years after Columbine, an obsessed teenage girl travels cross-country to shoot herself in the woods near the high school.

Also, one of Stephen Paddock's victims died a year later, one two years later, and one of Charles Whitman's victims died decades later or something ridiculous like that. I know those are just belated primary victims, but it's still notable. I'm afraid I can't quite be bothered to confirm these right now, but I might return to it.

Wow reading about all those who lost there lives after Polytechnic is shocking I had no idea any of them had occurred.Personally I wouldn’t count Sol País but honestly there isn’t a true definition of a secondary casualty so I’m just kind of just going off my own conclusions here.Thank you for the response!

Bastian Bosse's father had a heart attack upon hearing the news of the shooting

Austin Eubanks, who injured in the Columbine Shooting and was the best friend of Corey DePooter, killed himself in 2019 through a drug overdose.

Tomohiro Katō's 28-year-old brother killed himself in April 2014 "because of the scars and shame the massacre caused upon him." This was around six years after the attack.

Five people were treated for shock in the 1994 Rackham's mass stabbing.
During the 2011 Utøya shooting, one died falling from a cliff trying to escape, and one drowned trying to swim away from the island.
In the 2008 Nonhyeon-dong massacre, one woman died when she jumped out of a window in the fourth floor in an attempt to escape the flames.
I'm unsure if they were killed or wounded, but several casualties in the Kazan shooting were because they jumped out of windows.
Many were trampled in the Las Vegas shooting.

The daughter of Masumi Hayashi (who killed four with arsenic-poisoned curry in 1998) commited suicide by jumping off Sky Gate Bridge R at Kansai Airport with her four-year-old daughter in her arms on June 9th, 2021.

God that’s terrible I’ll never understand why people are willing to die that and take others with them.

In the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy shooting, Shafa Mammadova died from jumping from the window to escape the gunman.
In the Bremen school shooting, Sophie Gornisiewicz,

After Howard Unruh shot and killed 2-year-old Thomas Hamilton (ironically, the name of the 1996 Dunblane massacre gunman), the child's caregiver, Irene Rice, collapsed and had to be treated for severe shock.

A woman injured her ankle fleeing the YouTube headquarters during Nasim Najafi Aghdam's shooting.

Found an unusual example: a detective had a heart attack at the scene of the Isla Vista 2014 shooting during the investigation. Paramedics and investigators had to give him CPR. The relationship between the heart attack and the shooting is unclear, but you can read more in the official report on pages 33-34.

1 wounded in the 2016 Ohio State University attack was shot by stray gunfire.
456 wounded in the 2017 Las Vegas shooting weren't from gunfire.
A police officer was wounded in the leg by friendly fire in the 2016 Alpine High School shooting.

Three people were injured by the LAPD in a case of mistaken identity during the manhunt for Chris Dorner.

3 people drowned after jumping overboard in the 1999 Jinqing 12 shooting (Gong Taian.)

Five years after the Sana school shooting (yemen 1997) the daughter of the perpetrator Mohammad Ahamn Al-Nazari. Who he believed had been molested by a school administrator committed suicide five years after the shooting.

I saw Sol Pais on this thread and wondered if Kristin Hermeler and Candice Hermeler counted as well. Kristin wrote letters to Brooks Brown, Sue and Tom Klebold and the family of Corey DePooter in 1999 after the Columbine shooting and both were described as being "obsessed" with the shooting. In 2010, they traveled from Australia to Denver and carried out a suicide pact at a gun range in the area. Kristin died but Candice survived her injuries. In their luggage were letters from the Klebold Family as well as a copy of a TIME magazine featuring Eric and Dylan on the front cover. Very strange case.

Olga Grishchenko was shot in the stomach by Vladislav Roslyakov and died on 24 July, 2019 from her wounds. Despite this, she's not counted in the official victim toll and her death isn't classified as a homicide.
