There are prob thousands of examples but othere than wikipedia maybe? Idk if there is a list.
There were at least 3 or 4 from my old high school that I know of, only 1 had actual guns. Another few from schools in the same county, there were two girls who got arrested for "planning" but it was BS because they didn't have any guns or anything. They just talked about wanting to. Another kid at my high school got bullied because people kept calling him gay and told the class he was gonna kill everyone, he got arrested, he didn't have any guns, again bs. I'd love to say more about my experience but it would prob defeat the purpose of a VPN if I start talking about personally identifiable things lol

Martin Watt is an example that dont see talked a lot, probably because he was a boomer, but still interesting, I guess, like he had a good cache of weapons and was possibly inspired by the movie Killer Elite to do it. Schools attacks are like very talked about, there is even a list on wikipedia. I guess a noteworthy example, would be Liam Lyburd, he was very close to do it, but he had to post on Facebook about it. There is some foiled plots, not mention on that list, like Juan Manuel Morales Sierra and his plot of bombing the University of the Balearic Islands. Also high school N°6 "José Félix Bogado" shooting plot, when a 14 year old carried a Bersa Thunder pistol and a Safari double-barrel pistol.

She was an Auvinen fangirl. Things she did include:
*Trespassing at Jokela High School and 'reliving' the massacre, including going into the bathroom where Pekka armed himself and taking a picture of her own 'interest' (bags) in the same positions as his, on its seventh anniversary.
*Leaving flowers and food at his gravesite, which she visited on a regular basis.
*Keeping a small bag in her bra filled with soil from the gravesite.
*Slitting her wrist at the gravesite, in order to perform a 'blood sacrifice' to Pekka.
*Having an altar/shrine to Pekka at her home.
She obtained an AK-style rifle and a handgun, and wanted to kill people for Pekka, who she thought she'd meet, and presumably date, in the afterlife. She was arrested due to not exactly hiding any of the things she did nor those she planned to do, and received three years in prison.
I'd call her the Finnish Sol Pais, but even Sol might not have been on the same level of outrageously obsessive as she was.

Josiah Lyons on September 20th 2017 tried shooting up Mattoon Highschool’s cafeteria with a shotgun. He injured 1 student but was later pinned down by a teacher cause he was only 14. This happened really close to me and I wonder what would‘ve happened if he killed someone cause it would have been lulzy. He got 25 years in prison as a dual adult minor sentence.

I know many who failed incredibly in their attacks, but my favorite is without a doubt Mohammed Barakat, the 2023 fargo shooter.
He had x3 rifles, x4 pistols, a lot of ammo and magazines and tactical vest, Apparently he tried to attack a fair with a lot of people, to have a better high score, before shooting at the fair, he attacked some random police officers, as a distraction so that the police response at the fair would decrease, at the end he failed and was killed by police with a score of 1/4

I made a short list based on wounded, everyone killed 1-2 so they count as failed mass murderers since the minimum is 3, obviously I excluded some incidents to not make it so extensive

In 1968, William Lockey (then 18) tried to commit a mass shooting in Cassopolis, Michigan. His plan was to kidnap his six-month-old child from his in-laws' house, go to the county Jail after 5:00 p.m.—when only one deputy would be on duty—and use his baby as bait to take the deputy hostage. Lockey knew that the jail had a key to the courthouse's clocktower, so he would take the key, then take the two hostages to the clock tower and restrain the deputy with rope and handcuffs. Lockey had snuck those restraints, as well as other materials, to the attic of the courthouse when it was unlocked a few weeks earlier. The attic was directly below the clock tower, and the employees rarely went there.
He snuck enough food and water there so that he and hostages could survive for days. He had also stashed 2,500 rounds of ammunition for his rifle. Along with standard ammunition, the rounds included incendiary and tracer bullets. The police found a map belonging to Lockey of the town with marks of shops that had explosive materials, such as a hardware store with propane tanks and lighter fluid visible from the front window. Additionally, he wrote down the schedules for when tanker trucks hauling gasoline would be passing through the area.
Lockey figured he could set the buildings on fire and shoot people as they ran outside, and that no one could stop him because of his captives. The clock tower was 60 feet tall and provided a clear view of the surrounding area. From his vantage point, he could've shot anyone coming out of the entrances of the sheriff's office and the fire station.
However, when he went to kidnap his child, the police arrived in the nick of time. They had a half-an-hour stand-off with Lockey but ended up arresting him without any shots being fired. Lockey was sent to a mental hospital for three years before being released. He shot up a factory a few decades later.

Like 4 days ago, his name is Guilherme Franca Alcantara, From what I read, he was proud of his name Guilherme like Taucci, and he threatened people with murder. He also had a diary where he wrote about murderers and murder fantasies.

In their defense, most of these attacks were did by kids, it is a fact that anyone under 15 are generally trash in mass murders
