Great interview Amanda! I think it's great that you're willing to speak about what happened in such an open and frank manner. I do have a few questions though if you dont mind:

Do you ever get triggered by posts here? And if so why do you continue posting? Has posting here and doing YouTube videos helped in your recovery process? Or do you see yourself more as "setting the record straight" among people who are going to discuss/dissect the case regardless?

I've always wondered what it must feel like for people who lived through that day to view this forum. As you said no one but the survivors will ever know how that it all felt, no matter how many reports and news articles us researchers read. Does the continued intrest in the case ever make you feel uncomfortable on a personal level?

Also you said that the school enviroment changed after the shooting, but once new kids who werent there started attending it regressed again. As a survivor do you feel anything positive (purely in terms of knowledge and safety) came from it? Do you think America will learn anything from these kinds of attacks?

I'm sorry if any of these questions are out of line. It's just very rare to get to speak to someone who's lived through this kind of event. I greatly appreciate any answers you're willing to give, and thanks again for being so open in the first place

I find that if I read about the shooting too much I start to feel ill. I used to dwell on this forum more in the past, but not as much now, since my anxiety has been dialed up to 10 as of late.

I'm not sure what to make of the continued interest, honestly. It's kinda weird and scary to see that so many teens actually admire what E&D did.

I'd say that this forum, intentionally by some, and unintentionally by others, hyperfocuses on the two killers. That's why I called my account "myshame", because I know that having discussions like these isn't really beneficial.
