| Can the public just walked through the school or is it just the stone memorial and the one with the crosses? I think it would be so cool to go there. Has anyone been ? | |

| There was some guy from Australia who actually entered the school and had his girlfriend film him, walking the same path Eric took in the 'Eric in Columbine' video, shared the footage here and got in trouble for that (nothing serious, but they did track him down). I'd advise against it. Still, not to sound harsh, the guy didn't mean any harm and the footage was actually kinda cool, to see what's it like there today. | |

| Apparently there are events held at the school that might be open to the public. I didn't think they would use the school as a location for public events given it's obvious history and the potential people it could attract, but someone on instagram went to a craft fair at the school recently that appeared to be open to the public and took some pretty nice pics (some are posted in the columbine photos thread). Based on what she took pics of and the content of her account I'm pretty sure she only went to see the inside of the school and not b/c of the crafts, and more than likely she knew about it in advance.
Several people here have expressed an interest in wanting to visit the school but the community seems (and rightfully so) to not want to become a tourist attraction over such a tragic event, and seems to want to put the whole thing behind them. I posted this in another thread and I got this idea from stumbling upon that instagram account, but if anyone was really interested in visiting the school, particularly when classes are Not in session, maybe check out local events in the Littleton area and see if any are held at the school in the near future.

| But it's still no difference that events end up being the ticket to seeing the school for morbid reasons. And the school probably caught wind of this but can't do anything about it. _________________ Will you remain my fire in this temporary paradise?

| The school is like a regular school when class is in session if you do not have a valid reason to be there they will not want you running around. The memorial is open to the public. _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] going when it's open to the public is better than sneaking into the school while classes are in session, posing as a student or whatever and wandering the halls. So if people are that determined to visit this is a better way of going about it. It's also less creepy for the students and staff as they won't be there to be disrupted by it. | |

| I remember that, that was pretty crazy. You were walking around like you went to school there. Kind of proves how things really haven't changed. | |

This is a good thing; shows that they've moved on. I wanted to ask a kid there some questions about the school but my girlfriend said that was taking it too far.
