Columbine yearbook and full class photos available

How exciting!! You guys must be so anxious to receive these items and have them in your possessions. I'm also begging for photos

It takes me back 25 years when I was a young boy being mega excited waiting for Christmas Day to arrive. The only differences being I don't know the exact day it will be here and I had to buy my own present.

The full Class of 1999 photos should look good.

Can't wait to actually see them both in their entirety in high quality.

I don't know what the measurements of the photos will be. I can scan them in easily enough on the copier at work if they are no longer than an A3 sheet. I worry they might be a little bigger and that's the reason we've never had full versions before.

I do have facilities available to me if they are an awkward size but I hope they fit the copier as that'd be easier and quicker to get done. The big plotter is in a different building and I'd have to get someone else to do that for me and I don't really want to be asking work colleagues to be scanning these particular photos for the inevitable questions it'll lead to. I'd have to come in super early one day and do them myself I should think.

The Class of 1999 photos are quite wide.

Certainly a standard copier will not work.

Whichever way it can be done I trust you will post them complete & in high quality.

I suspected that they would be bigger than the average copier then and that's why we don't have he full version.

Not to worry. The plotter can go as high as A0 in size so it will be able to do it. The worry is it getting chewed up in the machine. The normal photocopier/ scanner can of course do flat bed. The plotter needs to feed the full thing through it. I used to work on that machine and I'd say about 1 in 50 documents got chewed up that were fed through it. Still, the odds are in our favour!

I am guesstimating that the Class of 1999 photos are each at least 26" from left to right x 10" top to bottom based on the size of the Xbox controller.

Yeah I would say you aren't too far off looking at that.

The tracking site says it's still stuck in London somewhere so the wait continues. I'm off work today anyway and that's where it's heading so at the very earliest it'll be Monday now. The good news is with it being delivered to work I suppose I can get the scan done the day I get it.

Mine has moved again it seems. It looks to have got through customs so hopefully they'll drive it up north tomorrow and it will arrive on Monday.

Been a long time coming hasn't it? I can't believe there hasn't been a copy available in all those years.

They tried to deliver it to work this morning. I think it's been taken back to the sorting office so I assume they will try to re-deliver on Monday morning! I'd go there right now for it but I don't have the card they will have posted through the door of work to say they tried to deliver it.

Hahah! Yeah, I'm insanely lucky! It doesn't feel real yet.. As a Columbine researcher seeing everything in books and through a computer screen, to hold and own a physical item directly related to one of the people involved is beyond comprehension; it's a physical connection to that world. It's crazy knowing that Eric himself held that book, let alone wrote in it.

Yeah I have literally stopped recording the Murderabilia Part 2 Video because of this. I want to get that Yearbook and class photo in it!

Now of course, I'm not going to mention anything that you guys don't want me to.

Mainly that they exist and that the writing in it from Eric Harris is authentic.

There is no need to mention names or that it was purchased. I can, however give credit to the owner and a thanks if they would like.

Definitely authentic as that's Eric's signature, he and his unique way of signing off.

I don't mind either way really for being credited. I suppose if people want to know where you got it you can give my username and link to the forum as per a couple of your other videos is fine by me (assuming that's ok with admin).

As mentioned, hopefully I'll have it to you in the next 24 hours. Froggy is in the same part of the world as me so assuming postage takes a similar time you might have the material you need for your video in about a week's time.

I won't be marking the photos I don't think. I'll let you guys see the clean versions of them. If people claim it's theirs on Tumblr then so be it. I just hope if the link to the forum is used it doesn't attract too many Eric & Dylan supporters to come along and visit.

I should be getting over to the other office in the next hour so all being well they should be available soon.

Apologies - hit a couple of snags with the scans.

I've done them but some of the faces are warped because of the way the photographs are kept rolled up (eg like a scroll). I need two hands to hold it flat while it feeds through but then I can't reach the button on the computer a few yards away to start the scan.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] just sent me one of the "warped" versions of the photos, and honestly, it isn't even that bad; it doesn't affect much of the photo/faces at all. I'm sure most of you guys can overlook it. It is incredible to see the class photo in its entirety, something that we've waited a very long time for!

Absolutely! Jennifer told me she's sending the book out today, so I should have it around this time next week. Very excited!!
