That's funny you posted that because right after watching the podcast, i watched that exact video and i was even thinking about posting it on here. I'm glad you did, makes very good points while being funny.

One thing I like about Brooks is he doesn't think Eric was a psychopath. He believes he was crazy (psychotic).

Really interesting, thanks for posting that. I haven't heard Brooks talk about columbine with the media since the immediate few years proceeding it. It sounds like talking about this stuff is still tough for him. It's funny how he regrets having been in the spotlight and perculiar how he defines his life in terms of his google search results.

So, I hadnt listened to this until now because Stanhope annoys me. I'm not a big fan of podcasts in general, I guess, but his are just so all over the place, interrupting, etc.
Anyway, Brooks said a few things that I haven't heard him say before:
At time 1:10:31

I assume this is exaggeration and maybe refers to Eric checking "homicidal thoughts" on the mental health assessment for his pre-Diversion interview. Does anyone know anything different?

Also, and this is BIG to me,

My assumption, of course, is that he's talking about Dusty Hoffschneider, who is referring to Rocky's bullying. Has anyone heard him mention this before? I'm not sure I believe it, honestly.

I nearly choked myself from laughing when he introduced Brooks as the third columbine shooter, I wish this was on video so I could have seen Brooks' face

In No Easy Answers, Brooks refers to Rocky, but not by name--"There was one guy, a psycho wrestler who everyone knew to avoid"

I don't know about anyone else, however, the guys on this podcast with Brook truly pissed me off greatly, it's like it was a big joke to them....Don't get me wrong I'm all for dark comedy and I'm definitely very interested when it comes to morbid curiosity, however, these guys were trash in my opinion

My take on this is that humour is subjective, and that whereas a lot of people find it inappropriate to Joke around about death, some people do it as a way to cope with reality. For them its a way to lease the tension. Nevertheless I think people should do it with people that understand this sense of humour.
