Nonhyeon-dong Massacre 2008

A very unknown event that ill discuss here to add to the community Archives.

This Event was a mass stabbing and Arson rampage that occurred in the Nonhyeong-dong area of Gangnam south Korea on the 20th of October of 2008 leaving 6 Dead and 7 Injured.

At 8:15 AM Jeong Sang-Jin a man who lived on the third floor of an Gosiwon Apartment complex set fire to his bed with gasoline then proceeded to gear up, wearing all black with a headlamp and balaclava with goggles Jeong exited his room armed with a Sashimi knife, 2 fruit knives strapped to his leg and a pepper spray gun on his belt. Jeong began stabbing people fleeing the fire with the Sashimi Knife killing 5 and inuring 4. One woman died after attempting to escape the burning building by jumping out of a fourth story window and 3 others were injured by the fire.

At 9:20 AM Jeong was found to have miracously survived the building fire by hiding in a fourth floor storage room, he was first thought to be a innocent survivor until they noticed his strange behaviour and Jeong confessed. Jeong was arrested and convicted of Arson and Homicide.

Jeong claimed that he had been persecuted all his childhood and had attempted suicide twice in which he suffered from severe headaches ever since the attempts. Jeong was in financial troubles and said that he didn't want to live anymore and that everyone looked down on him, He also expressed anger against Rich people and "high authorities".
