It's listed as a school shooting on most websites. I agree that calling it a school shooting doesn't really make sense.

Sagamihara Stabbings ( 26 July 2016) - Satoshi Uematsu breaks into a care home for severely disabled people both mentally and physically in the middle of the night and goes from room to room stabbing victims in their neck as they slept.
