possible police cam footage of Eric?

I'm very confused

The date matches the day of the van incident. It was a Friday. Interesting!

This is not Eric.

This is a screen shot from the documentary "The Big Picture" and is put up when the narrator talks of their van arrest. Note the date in the bottom right hand corner; it's the date they were arrested, which has led people to believe this is the cop's dashcam video of that arrest. It is not.
People argue that this "looks like Eric" and it "looks like Eric's car."

Not sure how you can argue it looks like Eric other than the guy is skinny, but whatever. The car only has a passing resemblance to his; Google 1986 Honda Civic and look at pictures of the backend. The tail lights are different.

In addition, Walsh had no partner when he found them in Deer Creek Canyon Open Space park. He made both get out of the car and he had them both put all the stuff they stole on the trunk of Eric's car so he could see it.
If you watch the entire video, there are 2 cops. One talking to the person outside the car, and one opening the passenger side door and talking to the passenger. Also, there are no items on the car trunk at any point in the video.
Walsh did call for a second car to transport Dylan, presumably he wanted to keep them separated so they couldn't coordinate stories. But when that cop arrived, Walsh put Dylan in that cop's car. The second cop did not remove Dylan from Eric's car or talk to Eric.

It's not lost footage, it's not the van arrest.

The video uses a ton of stock footage throughout. This is no different. The person who compiled the video was just smart enough to find a matching date.

They probably just used the footage because the dates happened to match.

In this shot, it almost looks like the guy talking to the cop is wearing overalls.

Totally does not look at all like Eric. This dude is too tall and stocky in physique. Eric was a pretty skinny dude. Plus, who would've been videoing this transpiring besides Walsh? And yeah, the overalls. That's a big nope. lol It's easy to get a similar car and stamp a fake date on the vid or yeah, find stock footage.
