Christopher Churchill and the 1998 North Noble Massacre

Christopher C. Churchill (18/12/1981) is a American mass killer who on the 11th of February, 1998, murdered his half bother, Jonathan Lloyd, (??? - 11/02/1998) his fiance Debra Smith, (??? - 11/02/1998) and her three children Kenneth Smith, (??? - 11/02/1998) Korey Smith, (??? - 11/02/1998) and Jennifer Smith, (??? - 11/02/1998) with a hammer before sexually assaulting and robbing there body's. A week after the murders Churchill confessed to a friend after he asked Churchill about his new found wealth Churchill was later found guilty of burglary and murdered and was sentenced to two life sentences without the possibility of parole and an extra 7 years for burglary Churchill is currently incarcerated in the Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois

Christopher C. Churchill was born on the 18th of December, 1981, in North Noble, Illinois to parents, Susan Churchill, growing up Churchill lived in poverty with his mother who was largely absent during his childhood. I've seen very different accounts of what Churchill was like. According to his uncle, Thomas Graves, "He's was a very good kid. He was a kind of a quiet kid. He camped to himself. He was very (Unintelligible) if you talked to him"



However other accounts paint a very different picture...

I don't know if any of these comments are legitimate what I do know is that by the time Churchill was a teenager he was notorious in his neighbourhood. In 1997 Churchill had a low IQ and was expelled from his high school (I don't know witch one it was) and transferred to another high school in Olney, Illinois but dropped out after only a month of attending. In that same year a criminal complaint was filed against Churchill by a female family friend who was the mother of his girlfriend alleging that Churchill had thrown a rock at her eye.

In the summer of 1997 Churchill was reunited with half-bother, Jonathan Lloyd, Lloyd was very different from Churchill Lloyd was a year older and had been raise in Texas by his foster parents and had moved to North Noble in order to be reunited with his biological mother and Churchill. In October of that year, Debra Smith, 35, and her three children Kenneth Smith, 6, Jennifer Smith, 12, Korey Smith, 10, had moved to North Noble from Olney after leaving her husband, Curt Smith, it was here Debra Smith would meet Churchill's and Lloyd's mother, Susan Churchill, while working in a packaging plant for cassette tapes. For some reason Debra Smith and her three children moved in with Susan Churchill it was here were Debra Smith would meet Jonathan Lloyd and the both started dating.

On the 8th of February, 1998, after a few months of dating Jonathan Lloyd proposal to Smith and she agreed to celebrate Lloyd, Smith and her three children went to a local Walmart to go on a shopping spree. When they came back Churchill was waiting on the front door where they welcomed him to the property and let him shared dinner with them after dinner Churchill played a game of hands of cards with Debra, Jennifer and Jonathan. Churchill didn't do well in the hands of cards game and was made mad when Smith and Lloyd started teasing him. After the game was done Churchill went to drink beer and watch horror movies on the T.V where Churchill spent the night seething over defeat in the game and the mockery he got from Debra and Jonathan.

Later that night Churchill retrieved a hammer from under the sink and went to the room of Kenneth Smith and Korey Smith and bludgeoned them both to death before sexually assaulting the body of Kenneth Smith realising that Jennifer Smith would soon be up to wake Kenneth and Korey up he walked into Jennifer Smith's room and as he had done to her two bothers and bludgeoned her to death. He then came into the room of Debra and Jonathan and bludgeoned them both to death after this he sexually assaulted the body of Jennifer Smith he then tuck a shower before stealing 900$ from Jonathan's wallet.

Six days after the massacre Churchill confessed to a friend after he had asked Churchill about his new found wealth Churchill was arrested that same day and made no protest of innocence and immediately confessed to everything saying that he had done the murders because of "pent up stress" and had sexually assaulted the bodies to "feel sick". He was later found guilty and sentence to two life sentences without parole even tho he killed five people
