What mass killer was the worst person outside of their mass killings?

In my opinion it's James Huberty. He physically abused his wife and kids, encouraged his daughters to beat up children they had disputes with, and was detained for a conflict with his neighbors once. I suppose Salvador Ramos is pretty bad if you're a cat lover.

Devin Kelley. Animal abuser, wife beater, baby batterer, didn't take a damn lick of responsibility for any of it.

Ronald Gene Simmons without a doubt. He pretty much held his family as prisoners in their own home, raped his own daughter, fathered a child with his own daughter and systematically slaughtered his own kids over the span of a week before going on a shooting spree. Most of the victims died by strangulation, so it wasn't even quick and easy. Not to mention that fact that most of the family members he killed were still kids, the youngest just being a year old.
