A source of the VChK-OGPU reports that 3 to 10 people with automatic rifles burst into the 14th hall of the Crocus City Hall and opened fire on civilians. There was panic in the hall. So far, there are preliminary 15 dead. One security guard who tried to stop the attackers has been confirmed dead. The whereabouts of the attackers are unknown. The building is on fire.

At least 5 gunmen were part of the group that carried out the shooting at Crocus

Eyewitnesses from the scene of the tragedy report that some people were evacuated directly from the roof of the flaming building of the Crocus City Hall.

Shooting began simultaneously in the auditorium and in the lobby, where crowds of people were at that moment. The terrorists set fire to the chairs in the auditorium, from where the fire spread almost throughout the entire building.

More than 50 ambulance crews have rushed to the scene. Medics are providing assistance to all those in need.

Firefighters are still not allowed near the shopping center. They cannot start extinguishing the fire due to the fact that criminals may still be inside.

One of the eyewitnesses describes the terrorists:

At least five people, bearded. They act like trained soldiers. At the moment of entering the building, the guards and people standing at the door were killed. Then they blocked the main entrance.

The terrorists are armed with AKM assault rifles. Some carry combat vests with various ammunition. At least two of the attackers are carrying backpacks, possibly with molotov cocktails.
