Also that video just reads out quotes from his Watchpeopledie accounts, Youtube videos and essay on pedophilia. He mentions Nicholas' instagram account but doesn't mention his interest in Adam Lanza other than him following a memorial account for the Sandy Hook victims, even though anyone looking into Nicholas would find out his interest in other school shooters like Adam Lanza and Audrey Hale. Seems a bit lazy in order to sensationalise "OMG HE KILLED FOR A VIDEOGAME CHARACTER!!!1!1!1!" not even a month after he killed his family.
Although I guess I should be glad there isn't a NordVPN sponsorship in the middle of the video.

This sure is a common theme in tabloid and "independent" media these days. They always fixate on the sensational aspects of the attack. How else do you make people care about shooting [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]? I never even bother with that kind of content unless it's to check out the absurdity. EWU is probably the only exception (gatekeeping scum).

EWU isn't bad as he at least goes out of his way to get interrogation footage and bodycam footage. He still does the same sensationalising thing in his titles, but it's not as bad and more on the level of what tabloids have been doing since the 70s. These other guys just lazily profit off of other people's pain while saying information that they found from their first google search.

Although I wonder if shitty true crime youtubers will pick up on Nicholas Prosper like they did with Randy Stair a couple of years ago. What's better for Youtube views than talking about a mass murderer with a bizarre motive? It's practically a get rich quick scheme!

Dire Trip isn’t nearly as bad as most true crime YouTubers. He actually covers somewhat interesting cases and doesn’t talk like he’s trying to seduce me. I actually didn’t know a lot of this stuff about Nicholas, mainly his WPD posts.
