This happened 10 years ago but I thought it was interesting. In Austin Texas a cop with just a little 40 caliber pistol killed an active shooter from over 300 feet away. Nice shot.

Just a comparison: Elisjsha Dicken (Jonathan Sapirman's killer) was about 120 feet away. This cop managed to do more than double that. Both insane shots. Both up against a more heavily armed shooter.
