australian (mass) shootings/stabbings, etc.

is it just me, or i haven't seen much light shown on some  australian massacres, shootings, etc. as a australian myself.

examples:


> Wieambilla police shootings


> Bondi junction massacre (mass stabbing)


> Port Arthur (mass shooting.)

here are some of the photos of the perpetrastor, Huan Yun "Allen" Xiang. I don't think his middle name was actually allen, i think it was a name assigned to him so australian people wouldn't screw up his name very often.

low kill count = less people care = less action taken. i mean port arthur happened 6 years before and that stupid blondie martin bryant somehow managed to change the entire country's gun laws because he killed 35. i am 100% sure if marty ended up killing 2 like huan yun nobody would care and australia would still have the gun laws they did back in 96.
