I started a topic about this a year or so ago but there are a lot of different people here now so I thought I'd talk about it again as it has always been something that baffles me.
Robyn Anderson. For those of you who don't know, she went with an underage Dylan and an underage Eric to a gun show in December, 1998 and bought them 3 guns. She knew it was illegal to do this. After Columbine happened, no charges were brought against her. Meanwhile, 2 other males were arrested and spent time in jail. One for selling Dylan a Tec-9 and the other for introducing Dylan to the guy he bought the Tec 9 off of.
Personally, I think Robyn knew a lot more than she let on. What does everyone else think? Do you think Robyn had any idea or perhaps knew what Dylan and Eric were planning.
After Columbine she seemed to fall of the face of the Earth. Not much has been said about her nor have I seen or heard anything about her openly discussing Columbine like many of the other people who were friends with Dylan and Eric. This is one of those things I wish I knew more about.

She almost certainly had to have had an inkling that something was going on.
I think she was in the school during NBK. So the boys evidently didn't even think enough of her to "warn" her or or encourage her to be elsewhere that day. I don't know where she was in the school, specifically, but it's conceivable she could have been killed by the bombs if they had worked. Or shot by Eric or Dylan or by law enforcement during the mayhem. Obviously they didn't care if she lived or died.
EDIT: When Robyn bought the guns she refused to sign any paperwork. She testified later that had she been required to sign for the guns she wouldn't have bought them. So that shows she didn't have 100% trust in the boys' intentions.
Actually Robyn went to lunch off campus, and she seemed very anxious to leave. Her friends stated that. It was also said that Nate said, "I can't believe they did this today", or something to that effect. Personally...some of their friends knew.
But to this day, it is complete horseshit that Robyn Anderson wasn't charged with anything, yet Mark and Phil were screwed over. Unreal.

The investigation revealed that a friend, Robyn Anderson, accompanied Harris and Klebold to a gun show in late 1998 since she was of legal age to buy a firearm. At the gun show, 18-year-old Anderson purchased two shotguns and one rifle for the two killers. Those same guns were later used in the Columbine killings.
Anderson denies any prior knowledge of their plans. No law, state or federal, prohibits the purchase of a long gun (rifle) from a private individual (non-licensed dealer). Because of this, Anderson could not be charged with any crime. If Anderson had purchased the guns from a federally licensed dealer, it would have been considered a “straw purchase” and considered illegal under federal law to make the purchase for Harris and Klebold.
The State of Colorado has a specific statute prohibiting anyone from providing or permitting a juvenile (under 18) to possess a handgun. Mark Manes sold his Intratec, model TEC-9, 9mm pistol to Klebold for $500. He also purchased two boxes (100 rounds) of 9mm ammunition for Eric Harris the night of April 19. Manes was charged with one count of unlawfully providing or permitting a juvenile to possess a handgun. Manes was also charged with one count of possession of a dangerous or illegal weapon because he had gone shooting with Klebold and Harris in March 1999 and had shot one of their sawed off shotguns.
Manes entered a plea of guilty to the charges and, on Nov. 12, 1999, was sent to the Colorado Department of Corrections for six years on the first charge and three years on the second charge, to be served concurrently.
Phillip Duran, who worked with Harris and Klebold at a local Pizza establishment, allegedly introduced them to Manes and allegedly was involved in the brokering of the TEC-9 for Harris and Klebold. He was charged with unlawfully providing or permitting a juvenile to possess a handgun as well as a charge of possession of a dangerous or illegal weapon. He was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Duran’s trial is scheduled for June of 2000. If Duran is convicted of all three counts, he could be sentenced up to 12 years to the Colorado Department of Corrections.
Both Manes and Duran deny any knowledge of Harris and Klebold’s plans.
**Robyn's statement is from pages 0010619-010644:
Robyn Anderson 11-4-80, Monica Schuster 12-07-81 & Tammy Golden 3-28-80 drove away from Columbine around 11:10 to go for lunch at Dairy Queen.
When they returned around 11:25am, they were stuck in the parking lot for 2 1/2 hours.
Between 11:25am-12:05pm, all 3 of them saw Eric/Dylan in the Library window(s) at least once.

Even if she didn't know they wanted them specificaly for the shooting, she must have known they were planning a crime of some sort. I mean, what did she think they were going to use them for - catching butterflies?

Does anyone know how Eric and Dylan met her?

Robyn said that she met them through Chris Morris at Columbine High School
Are you sure?
I read Dylan met her at a Christmas Party in December '96.

Not really on topic but it is about Robyn. I saw a picture of her that says she is now called Robyn Kay Lira Gomez, so I assume she's married now. You can still recognize her as the girl Eric and Dylan knew but only just barely.

Didn't Robyn date Chris?
I think Robyn was a bit of a smitten kitten when it came to Dylan and knew more than she lead on too.
Interesting, she was involved heavily in her church, up for Valedictorian (Like Lauren Townsend was!) and bought guns for her underage friends.. it's never who you think it would be.

No worries, we all dip into the shallow end from time to time

I thought what Robyn did was legal. It was called a straw purchase! As long as it was not a federally licensed seller. Someone could buy a gun for and underaged person. But what mark manes did was sold a gun to an underaged person. I think that’s why Robyn was never charged.

well from what i understand if robyn bought a rifle from manes and gave it to them it would still be legal but the tec 9 is considered a pistols so it was illegal for any of them to own

Robyn knew what was up, to me at least. She really rubs me the wrong way.
If you watch her in any of the few interviews she did give she is stone faced, cold and almost, it seems, aloof. She acts this way because she knew about NBK and knew she screwed up by not saying a damn word. She totally knew what was going to happen. She liked Dylan so much she let it gloss over. Now, I'm sure Dylan never went into full detail about NBK or, obviously, included her in what the plans were. But he probably did mention it a few times to her and probably warned her in the days/weeks coming to not be on campus at a particular time. She knew what was up but was to swooned over by Dylan to take his word on it in a serious manner. She listened to anything he said and just went with it for his attention. *rolls eyes*
I mean come on... Eric and Dylan... more specifically Eric talked about guns all. the. time. They both talked about blowing crap up and setting things on fire and guns etc. etc. I cannot believe it wasn't a red flag for her when they asked her to go to a gun show with them to buy guns for them. Again, she probably did it to hang out with Dylan.

There are some people who don’t believe Robyn had any romantic feelings for him.
She had a huge crush on him so she probably overlooked red flags.

I think if she knew what was going to happen, a guilty conscience would've forced it out of her.
