What if Dylan had started school later?

I've always wondered if it would have made a difference if Dylan's parents had waited to enroll him in school.
Since Dylan was born in early September, his parents had the option of letting him begin school a year early.
If they had waited then Dylan would have been a grade lower then Eric.
Maybe they would have never become friends and NBK would have never happened

What do you guys think?

Another 'what if' on the vast amount of paths leading away from NBK.

They could've still been friends. Look at Erik Veik. He was 2 years below them and still friends with them. When I was in High School, I did not like most of the kids in my class. All my friends were a year below me. Ironically, the class of 1999.

So it is still possible that they could've been close friends and still did the massacre.

Hards to say, especillay as I'm not entirely sure how they first met. I wa sunde rthe impression taht they met through common friends. So perhaps they would still meet?
