I'm ecstatic for tomorrow night. It's going to very cool/eerie to finally see and hear from someone who is a piece of Dylan that has lived on over the years. Hoping she also provides any unseen photos or videos.

I was 12 and I watched the whole thing on tv with my mom. At least Sue is finally facing the world. The Harries have never come out with anything.

Yes they have, I just wonder sometimes why they don't advocate for other kids in trouble. Their son was essentially a very very troubled young man by the end. I mean this is my opinion of course but I think if that were my son I would have to do something in my life afterwards to help other young people like him, or at least to make sure they had places to go where they would not be a danger to others while they receive help.

I really can't blame the Harrises' for not going public or doing whatever. None of us can really know the hell they lived through. Maybe it took all the strength they could muster to just go on living and now, they must still live with the pain but perhaps they can't bear to go back to that place, that time, those years like Sue has obviously had to, to write the book and do this interview. I can't really blame them for that either.

Part of the interview, Sue talks about confronting Dylan about his behavior, reminds him that he forgot today was Mother's Day (May 10 1998) and pushes him against the refrigerator and Dylan softly responds back "Mom, please don't push me, I don't know how much I can control myself" - Sue says it was not scary, it was just his way of saying back off please. After that, he bought her African violets.
