I don't know if this is a first (I'd imagine that one guy in Austin injured a few) but, cops usually are able to escape/stop school shootings without any injuries.

This is presently being reported as connected to those who bombed the Boston Marathon. There were other bombs that went off close by to MIT. The Boston Globe (as well as the television and local radio) is reporting that one of the bombers have been taken into custody at this time.

They keep changing details. That article initially said that they were connected to the bombings at the marathon, now, minutes later, they're backtracking and "refusing to comment" about whether or not they're connected. Ugh, typical.

Well..right now they say it is connected. One suspect is dead, the other one is still on the run...
Yes, they've gone back to saying that. They were saying it right away, then they changed their minds and denied it. You should have heard the idiocy on the local news radio station. (I know this is a confusing situation, but they should not say anything as a fact until they know it for sure, or until they have the clearance from law enforcement to say so. It makes them look like worse liars than most of them already are). Now, they are admitting it. I live in the Boston area, so, while we get the news first, we also get all of the back and forth nonsense, too.
