| I really disliked rampage, it had no value or quality story telling.
My favorite is The Dirties.

| Killer klowns from outa space is a good film. Awesome soundtrack aswell. Not really about shootings but it was AL's favourate film at one point. Tate from American horror story is good tho, especially the fact his shooting happened in he's school library, reminds me off columbine.

Still need to watch Elephant. Only other relatively recent one that comes to mind is White Rabbit, which I personally found corny as hell. _________________ Everybody shoots on four.

The cinematography is shit with everything out of focus, the scenes are overly long and tedious and serve no purpose. Come to think of it, the whole movie serves no purpose. I see what they were going for, multiple scenes depicting the same event through different perspectives, but it fails at even that considering the massive continuity errors. _________________ Falling out of airplanes and hiding out in holes Waiting for the sunset to come, people going home Jump out from behind them and shoot them in the head Now everybody dancing, the dance of the dead The dance of the dead, the dance of the dead

| I think it depends on what you mean by "favorite." We Need to Talk About Kevin is my favorite in terms of quality in general. The editing is fantastic. I really like the whole style of it. Zero Day is my favorite in terms of execution. I think a movie about a school shooting was the perfect subject for a "found footage" film. I also found the acting pretty nice.
I've seen Stalking Laura mentioned a few times. Is it any good? What is it about? _________________ "Maybe this world is another planet's Hell..." "Life itself is only a vision. A dream. Nothing exists save empty space...and you. And you are but a thought."

I've seen Stalking Laura mentioned a few times. Is it any good? What is it about? I've only seen Stalking Laura once. It's a TV movie starring Brooke Sheilds based on Richard Farley. I thought I was done pretty well, like I was never bored watching it. I watched it on YouTube. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I've seen Stalking Laura mentioned a few times. Is it any good? What is it about? I think it's good. It's based on the ESL shooting, where Richard Farley shot several people at his old office due to coworker Laura Black getting a restraining order against him after he stalked her. - Basic plot (SPOILERS):
Basically, Laura Black joins Kensitron Electronics International and Richard Farley likes her. He starts stalking her which results in him getting fired from KEI. Laura eventually gets a temporary restraining order against him. Richard gets so angry about this that he buys an arsenal of weapons and more than 1000 rounds of ammunition. Before Laura can go to court to make the restraining order permanent, Richard walks into KEI and shoots several people, including Laura. Laura is only injured. He then starts a siege at KEI while talking to negotiators, mainly about how Laura is responsible for the shooting. He asks for a sandwich and a drink while he thinks about surrendering. When police say they have the food but have no way of giving it to him, he surrenders.

We Need to Talk About Kevin is my favorite in terms of quality in general. Here's a link to the book itself if you want to give it a look: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]A reason I prefer the book over the movie is that several of the 90's era shooters are brought up, which was pretty neat. Carneal, Ramsey, and Loukaitis are brought up on page 86 (Although details on Loukaitis's shooting are erroneously attributed to Ramsey), Mitchell Johnson and Andrew Golden are brought up on page 158, Kip Kinkel is brought up on pages 161/162 and is compared with the book's fictional shooter "Kevin Khatchadourian", and his dislike of Luke Woodham is brought up on pages 86/87. The book's attack begins on page 190. - Massoccur wrote:

I can't say, I just skip to the shooting scenes like I usually do with these sorts of movies. _________________ "If opportunities for role fulfilment fall far short of the demand by those capable of filling roles, and having expectations to do so, only violence and disruption of social organization can follow. | Zero Day is not only my favorite 'shooting movie," but one of my favorite movies of any genre.
I liked the twist in White Rabbit and the shooting scene. Everything else just... Was awful.
Elephant was mostly awful.
We Need To Talk About Kevin and Beautiful Boy are I important because they show the point of view of the shooters' families. _________________ "We all gotta die sometime Red." - Sgt Barnes, Platoon.

| My favorite movies with mass killings: -Lesson of the Evil (it is really for entertainment, not to learn about mass shooting but that movie is sooooo good) -Polytechnique -We Need to Talk About Kevin -Bloody Wednesday (Thanks Adam for making me discover this film) I also liked: -71 Fragmente einer Chronologie des Zufalls (By the director of Funny Games ; I watched this movie at the theater and I was waiting for the shooting during all the film because it happens at the very end without a clue, and just when it happened a woman next to me said something to her husband so I watched at her angrily and annoyed and I heard the gunshots... and so I missed the scene I was waiting for 1h40. I quickly looked at the screen again but the shooting was already over and the shooter was leaving. At that moment I really wanted to be James Holmes! I had to watch the scene on Youtube.) -Ms. 45 -If... And I have also seen Elephant, but I also didn't really like it, mainly because of the kiss scene. But I still like the idea of filming the same scenes from a different point of view each time and seeing the shooters walking in the background, but I think it was badly made which made it too artsy and boring. That's all I've seen for now, there are still so much movies I want to see. - TheOne99 wrote:
