| Has anyone here read Bullet Riddled: The First S.W.A.T. Officer Inside Columbine, by Grant Whitus? If so, was it worth the time and money? |

| Sounds like a cashgrab to me. Would still like to read it though. _________________ Falling out of airplanes and hiding out in holes Waiting for the sunset to come, people going home Jump out from behind them and shoot them in the head Now everybody dancing, the dance of the dead The dance of the dead, the dance of the dead

| I wouldn't recommend it. I read it on iBooks and there only 2 chapters on Columbine. It did not hold my interest - the free sample is better than reading the whole book. | |

| Only two chapters on Columbine? I had assumed that since the book had "Columbine" in the title that it would have contained more then just 2 little chapters. But thank you for saving me from wasting money. |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I can't be the only one who hates it when people involved in famous events write a book about said event, only for 90% of it to be about their childhood and university years. I'm surprised editors don't nip this stuff in the bud. In any case, thanks for sparing my wallet. | |

| The only new piece of info he reveals in his book is how they only sent one EMT up to help Dave Sanders, a man who did not even have his medical kit with him, who pronounced Dave dead without even checking his vitals. So there... no need to read the book now. | |

So there... no need to read the book now. I still can't believe the staggering level of incompetence shown on that day. Dave Sanders probably takes the cake for me, but it really was a perfect storm of screw ups, from the cops, to the media, and the shooters themselves. It sometimes feels like every party involved was lobotomized. | |

| I listened to it as an audio book and wasn't impressed. Grant tries to make himself out to be some sort of badass. He is relying on the small snip of Columbine for sales when really the book is mainly about him. _________________ Hold me now I need to feel complete Like I matter to the one I need
