Member EGSAndrew just committed a murder suicide in Tunkhannock, PA

Real name was Randy Stair. Was obsessed with Columbine. Planned the supermarket shooting for months and left gigs of audio and video files for apparent fame detailing his plans and sorry life. He last logged in yesterday and killed 3 people and himself that night/early AM.

Holy shit!! Wtf.....I'm just in shock that I've conversed with a future murderer, pretty uneasy feeling. Thanks for sharing! Is there any way someone could grab his posts/comments he made while being a member here? I'm curious

From what I recently heard, EGSandrew was on this forum actively. Can anyone give me some information on this guy?

After reading some about him, I watched his 42 minute goodbye video on one of his youtube channels. My thoughts on it are...I don't know what my thoughts on it are.

This is the third time right? First was Adam Lanza, back on the old forum. Then there was that teen who planned a school shooting but killed himself instead, and now this guy.

Some trolls are working on this article but its pretty informative

The shooter was a 24 year old who made some cringe-worthy deviantart and youtube stuff based off Danny Phantom but school shooter esque. Made death / suicide threats within a week of what he did. Nobody reported him fast enough.

He idolized the assholes who did Columbine, like 90% of shooters do.

He murdered about 3 people at (believed to be) his workplace?

More information is getting out so there's a lot of false info right now.

I've only listened to an hour of his 17 hour suicide tapes. What I've gathered so far is that he is obsessed with this "ghost squad" that he created. Fictional cartoon characters who are apparently all dead and he wants to die to join them in the afterlife. One in particular, Mackenzie, he is in love and obsessed with. In love with like he was saying how he can't stop looking at her and how she is the perfect girl and he was getting emotional and on the verge of crying talking about her. He's says he desperately wants to be with her and it hurts him and makes him upset that he can't do things like cuddle with her and talk to her.

He's also talked about how he does not believe that he is really a male. He knows he is actually a girl and that once he is dead and joins his ghost squad in the afterlife that he will fully be a girl. He says he's never had a girlfriend. He's never been on a date or anything like that and since Mackenzie he's not interested in any other girls besides her. So even though he feels like he is a female but has a male body, he isn't attracted to males. He's attracted to girls. Well the only two girls he's mentioned were "Ember" (apparently she's the leader of the ghost squad. The "EGS" in his username stands for "Embers Ghost Squad") and Mackenzie. He says that he had a crush on Ember but when he saw Mackenzie he fell in love with her. And she's the one he is dying to go to the afterlife to be with.

I plan on listening to the whole 17 hours and I'll add stuff to the thread as I go along.

We are here only to TALK about these mass shooters, we are here to see and learn how these shooters acted or how they looked like before doing these barbaric acts so we would never do the same bad thing happen again.

Some big YouTubers commented on his videos; one of them had almost 2 million subs

So this wasnt some unknown guy, he used to be apparently normal, at least compared to what he devolved into.

The sick thing is that the only reason he did this in the supermarket he worked at was because of a coin toss. If it had landed on heads instead he supposedly only would have killed himself in his parent's home. I'm not sure he actually would have done that because he seemed to want fame. He would have no fame if he only killed himself.

What you probably won't see mentioned in the news was that his father was the head manager of the store and that's the only reason he worked there. Aside from the one person that escaped, he didn't intend to kill anyone else and mentioned all the victims in his tapes when discussing his plan over a month ago. He said he couldn't talk to his father about anything and I think he may have chose the supermarket to also destroy his father's life.. He really shot up the place on the inside and store will be closed for some time and may even go out of business. It's a good thing he couldn't find a key to take the propane tanks because he intended to blow them up.

So a wannabe trans with autism created a fictional universe got obsessed with it and killed himself (and others) to join it.

It's not just this forum. I'm in a group online posting gore pictures and information about murders and of note there has been at least 3 members in recent memory that have committed murder and/or rape. These types of forums or groups will attract all kinds of people, not just people trying to understand and who are peaceful.

I didn't watch any videos but I read some journal entries. I haven't finshed yet but the most interesting thing to me so far was that he claimed to deeply identify with Eric, and obviously emulated him at times, but the content and tone was so much more like Dylan. His entire point of view is nearly identical to Dylan's, feeling separate from the 'humans,' chronically lonely and depressed and most striking, the belief that death would free him from the unhappiness of this mundane and disappointing life while part of him lives on in an afterlife where he can finally be happy with his true love.

I know of one other member whose comments had made me suspicious that has subsequently been banned. This member seemed to be suggesting that murder can be justified. It's not surprising that people with homocidal/suicidal feelings may identify with mass murderers in order to validate them. I've looked at the channels of people who comment on columbine-related videos on youtube and they seem obsessed with murderers/mass-shootings, guns, gore, etc. 

At the end of the day, unless members something about killing themselves or others with very clear intent, you can only ever be no more than suspicious. Unless you know the person or have some extra information about them it's no reason to alert the authorities. As an example, the Browns were absolutely correct in alerting the police after Eric wrote on the internet in no uncertain terms that he wanted to kill Brooks AND they knew him well, they'd seen him act violently towards Brooks in the past.

I don't think this forum and others like it create murderers but clearly potential murderers may be attracted to them for the abundant information that can be gleamed about murderers' lives. If these homocidal/suicidal members are given the opportunity to express their intentions in a 'safe' environment such as an internet forum they may potentially be averted.

I wonder if there could be a way of flagging up people who write suspicious things? I've heard about the idea of taking someone's writing and analysing it to "diagnose" depression based on words used. In the very least you could be able to flag someone's post not just for breaking forum rules/inappropriate content.

But, it is revealing and in my opinion no coincidence that he used this vocabulary in the 6 months prior to this heinous act. In his "suicide note" he declares that everything he's said he meant. Despite that, I doubt unless you knew him personally you'd be able to tell what was legitimate from what wasn't because it appears he was operating under some kind of alter-ego for his online following. This type of murder-suicide was designed to create a cult-following...he badly wanted to be famous, so I do believe there could be some intentional as well as unintentional freudian slips in his posting here and elsewhere.

I won't deny that he had everything planned meticulously especially for everyone to find and share after he's deceased.

That is so surreal to be on a platform where you indirectly discuss with people from all over the world the aftermath of your own murder-suicide.

His channel got taken down. Yeah he had a an entire media fire file. But I guess its gone now I think. I was listening to the audio tapes. I got to 2 hours and 48 minutes. Two hours of listening to this guy but I guess I will never finish his audio tapes. Unless someone has a link??????

Man 2 gigabytes that is a lot. He should have made a transcript as a word file because word files are just so much smaller. Actually he should have not done any of this crap in the first place but If you want to reach as many people as possible you got to use microsoft word or something like that.
