What song is playing when Eric is in the gas station?

What is the partially inaudible tune playing in the background when Eric is in the gas station buying propane tanks. I have searched great lengths to find it.

Sounds like some sort of elevator type music.    As there are no words in it to aid in a search, this would be almost impossible to track it down. Good luck!

I don't know but there is a dog barking in the song. That cant be too common right?

It sounds like a happy bark and it's funny because it looks like Eric is reacting to the sound and looking for the dog hahahha, like "Sparky, is that you?"

You can kind of hear the song/lyrics a little better and some of what Eric and the cashier are saying. I think someone like CVA who has advanced audio editing programs might be able to toy around with it and pluck out some of the conversation or song lyrics.

Ok, after watching the video with slower audio I feel like the dog bark might just be the sound of the tape being messed up in some way as it makes a similar sound at 00:53

Or the dog sound actually is coming from outside, at least it does not seem in this slowed down video like the dog sound is coming from the music but rather from the direction Eric is looking or somewhere behind the cashier.

and then a girl singing calmly
at 00:35 it seems like the song kind of changes its vibe to a more like swing/rock N' roll type music.

00:45 I hear her saying "enjoy high school"
and then
00:48 Eric says "thank you"
00:57 Eric saying "hi there" to get her attention (he says this at the beginning, despite it being on the end of the video)
