Murder of Junko Furuta

Junko furura was a 17-year-old Japanese high school student who was abducted, tortured, raped, and murdered in the late 1980s. Her murder case was named concrete-encased high school girl murder case

She was abducted by some boys in her class and tortured over a long period of time.

Approximately 100 people knew about Junko Furuta’s captivity, but either did nothing about it or themselves participated in the torture and murder. Most of the participants were friends of the teenage boys, who were low-ranking members of the Yakuza


Some of the suffering she endured included

Raped her over 400 times.
Beat her several times.
Starved her.
Hanged her body from the ceiling and used her as a "punching bag"
Dropped barbells onto her stomach several times.
Forced her to eat live cockroaches and drink her own urine.
Forced her to masturbate in front of them.
Inserted foreign objects into her vagina and anus.
Shoved a still-lit light bulb into her vagina.
Set fireworks into her anus, vagina, mouth and ears.
Burnt her vagina and clitoris with cigarettes and lighters.
Burnt her eyelids with hot wax and lighters
Tore off her left nipple with pliers.
Pierced her breasts with sewing needles.
In July 1990, a lower court sentenced Hiroshi Miyano, the alleged leader of the crime, to 17 years in prison.He appealed his sentence, but Tokyo High Court judge Ryūji Yanase sentenced him to an additional three years in prison. The 20-year sentence he received is the second highest possible sentence after life imprisonment.He was 18 at the time of the murder.

Didn't that happen to that cannibal guy too who shot and partially ate a European women in Japan? He was released later on and became a sort of celebrity appearing on talk shows on TV with people treating him like he is a star.

I read about that a few years ago. What that poor girl went through was unimaginable.
