Florida high school shooting leaves one person injured; suspect in custody

At least one person was injured in a shooting at a Florida high school Friday and a suspect was in custody, police said.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office said the incident occurred at Forest High School in Ocala, Fla. The Ocala Star Banner reported a student shot another student in the ankle Friday morning.

The school is currently on lockdown as police clear the area. Police have asked the public to stay away from the school.

The FBI, the Marion County Sheriff's Office, the Florida Highway Patrol and the Ocala Police Department were reportedly on the scene.

The suspected shooter has now been taken into custody, and officers said the victim was being treated by medics.

It's 20/04/2018, it was predictable that there would have been a failed shooting.
If the shooter turns out to be a Columbine copycat I wouldn't be surprised.

Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods said during a Friday afternoon news conference that a school resource officer heard gunfire at 8:39 a.m. and had the suspect in custody at 8:42 a.m.

The gunman is a 19-year-old man who doesn't attend the school, and the victim is a 17-year-old boy who is a student, Woods said. The boy was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, he said.




The resource officer was on that shit fast.

He can't always do huge shootings. He was probably just feeling lazy that day but everyone was expecting a school shooting so he had to deliver.
