Eric's "girlfriends"

Valeria Lage (DOB: 6/15/81)

Valerie Lage stated she met Eric in December, 1995 at Skate City, and they exchange phone numbers and begin dating.

Valerie was a student at Highlands Ranch High School.
She stated that she and Eric were boyfriend and girlfriend for approximately 2 months, until Valerie broke up with him, sometime after Valentines Day of 1996.
She stated she was “geekish” at that time and so was Eric.
Eric was obsessed with Hitler and big on atomic bombs and gunpowder at the time.
That Eric told Valerie that he was planning his mother assassination and she stated she just laughed because she thought he was joking but stated now she realizes he was serious based on the look of his face at the time (However: Eric during the basement tapes talked about his mother in a lovely way and told she cared about him and his parents were the best parents)
She stated that Eric told her he wanted to be “infamous” and told her that he would achieve that by building his own bomb which would be powerful enough to blow the whole country.
Eric never mentioned his father
Eric never showed her any of his bombs he was making, although she mentioned that Eric messed around on the computer a lot and showed her picture of his bomb designs on the computer.
Eric tried to get Valerie to shave her head and also tried to get her into the “Secret Nazi Cult Meetings” with him, although she never did.
That Eric advice Valerie he had a violent temper and when he got mad he would scream, throw things and threat to kill people
She said that Eric told her he would never hurt her cause she was his girlfriend.
She stated that Eric dressed “normal” and wore jeans and T-shirts (with color), and sometimes wore a ripped up light black trench coat but stated that he only wore that to keep him warm and not to signify that he was part of any group. (I find this weird cause I think Eric was not par of Trench Coat Mafia in his freshmen year)
Valerie told she broke up with Eric because he scared her and she told him that she decided she was too young to be in a relationship and he accepted that, although he continued to called her for about two months after that (as friends) and eventually quit calling.
Eric listened “Metallica” and “Iron Maiden” and a heavy metal band called “Deiside”
She stated she ran into Eric at South West Plaza Mall in September 1998 and they walked into a knife store in the mall where they visited.
Valerie stated that Eric seemed calmer than he was back in 1996 and she described him as normal on include the way he dressed (nice shirt with a KMSDM ??? band logo on it, jeans, and loafers).
Eric commented to Valerie that he had changed a lot (Valerie dresses all black now) and Valerie told Eric, “Wow, you got good looking”, which made him laugh.
Valerie never saw Eric after that meeting in 1998.

Jennifer Sweet DOB: 5/17/80

On May 28, 99 Jennifer Sweet was contacted by the police. And she stated she dated Eric about 1 and half years ago. (Weird since Eric was already dating Sasha at the time)

- She met him at the Southwest Plaza Mall and they dated for two weeks. During that time they hang out around 3 times and they usually met at Denny’s located in the Arapahoe Road and I-25 where she worked at the time.

- She stated that a week after they dating he continued to called her and telling her he loved her, she finally told him that the relationship was over and to stop calling her. However, Jennifer said the relationship ending was a mutual decision and at the time they were dating she was living in Bailey and it was just to far to travel.

- She stated she didn’t talk to him after that, except when he called her one time and asked her for a ride because he was stuck somewhere. She denied his request. Other than that she completely lost contact with him or see him at all.

-Sasha stated she met Dylan Klebold thought a friend at Columbine High School (Chad Laughlin), who has known Eric since the third grade.

-She stated she dated Dylan one or two time in October 1997. She said there was something strange about Dylan and she felt uncomfortable with him. It was during that time she met Eric and they began dating. They dated around 16 to 20 times during the period of October 1997 through January of 1998. On their dated, Sasha stated they would go to movies and she picked the movies they would attend. She did not like violent movies and on their dated they did not attend any. She stated that they normally go out one night per week and the other night Eric would go out with Dylan and see movies such as Pulp Fiction, Natural Born Killers, Reservoir Dogs, etc.

-Sasha stated that Dylan seemed to have more friends than Eric.

-She stated she went to Eric house’s approximately 4 times while they were dating and had dinner with his family one time.

-That Eric never discussed any problems with his family/home life. However, Sasha stated Eric didn’t feel good about himself and felt he had not lived up to his parent expectations. Also Eric hated life and people, and according to her, Eric was envious of his older brother who was lauded by his parents as a straight “A” student, good athlete and very popular with his peers.

-She never saw any fireworks/pipebombs in possession of Eric or Dylan.

-She stated that Eric didn’t like “jocks” because they seemed to get preferential treatment and would harass him and Dylan.

-Sasha stated that after Eric and Dylan were caught breaking into a cable van, Eric told her his parents searched his bedroom and found all the bombs he had already made. She was not sure, but she thought Eric stated the bombs were taken to a field and detonated. She also stated that Eric advised when he was living in NY he had set a bridge on fire.

-She stated that in January of 1998 she stopped dating Eric and in July of 1998 she began receiving threatening phone calls with the called claiming: “I’m going to kill you” or “A bomb is coming”. She believed Eric was responsible for this calls. Eric did send her a e-mail, stated that she was a loose end he was trying to fix all his loose ends. Sasha stated she changed her screen name and Eric mails to her stopped.

Why do I get a feeling that there's more to this than meets the eye?

I think someone should check for news articles in Plattsburgh to see if there's a story covered there that matches this testimony, something that lines up with this. IDK why, I have a hunch.

Does anyone have the picture of Kathy and Wayne with Alyssa Selcher? I saw it once awhile back. They seemed to be meeting at a restaurant or somewhere public. I'm pretty sure the caption was something about her visiting them on what would have been Eric's birthday.

I read lots of reports from girls claiming to have been girlfriends, i think the majority are just fame hungry, sickeningly the media buys into the bull crap although a few have been called out. They were sooo young too, relationships at that age are all kissy and cute. If only they knew the legacy that was ahead, how different things could have been. Scary

She supposedly visits or reaches out to the family every year for Eric's birthday. I wish I could remember the source/where I had originally found this bit of information! But she supposedly brings his mom a plant as a gift each year as well. I hope the story is true, and from what we know about her and her friendship with Eric, I like to think there's a good chance that it's true. I'm sure the Harris's appreciate someone reaching out to them with good memories of their son.

It is written differently in Cullens book of course because he loves to dramatize Eric's prowess...

However from what I understand is Kristi and Eric were friends, Kristi liked Eric as more of a friend but she was dating someone named Dan and Dan punched him.. and Kristi and Dan broke up, she still liked him but Eric liked Alyssa and wanted to date her. So Kristi was like "oh screw this, i am awesome and look at Nate.."because yes.. look at Nate (I am exaggerating I don't know what Kristi was thinking)but long story short she and nate started dating, and they were dating during the shooting. However, Eric was annoyed because kristi moved on and got into a fight with Nate...

I always wonder if Susan Dewitt would of dated Eric if he had not gone through with the shooting.
The letter she wrote to him years after the shooting where she said she essentially could of loved him really is heartbreaking.
She was a good looking girl too.

Nothing about Eric suggests that he felt this way. Even the so called "rape fantasy" was a one and done kind of thing. He never wrote about it or talked about it otherwise. And he didn't focus on getting revenge against people who've had sex, his hatred was directed at the entire human race.
Just because Eric didn't get any doesn't mean he was an incel.

And Eric likely was jealous of Kevin but by all accounts they had a good relationship and they loved and respected each other.

Dylan said it every other page and wanted to die to be with imaginary girlfriend but people still don't mention it as a motive. "the lonely man strikes with absolute rage". Seems to me the 'wrath' was ten times more about that than 'bullying' or any other bromide.

Bad day? You know this isn't what I said. Eric hated everyone and 20 yrs later no one truly knows why. What we do know is that he wrote about hating people for being like sheep, for everyone being the same and not having any original thoughts. He wrote of hating people who made fun of him, hating "the human equation" that made them act that way. He hated people who didn't give him the respect he thought he deserved. All of that is way bigger than a simple focus of hating people who had sex when he didn't, which is the focus within incel subculture. Eric wondered why he wasn't able to get any, but he never wrote of hating people because they did. He didn't write incessantly of love and girls like Dylan did and his mentions of sex were few and far between. This suggests that Eric's main sources of hatred came from other places.

Also, yes, the literal definition of an incel is an involuntary celibate. If we are using this then probably 50% of teenaged boys would be considered incels.
But in the context of discussion about incels who go on to commit mass murder, these are individuals whose main motivation is a perceived sexual disenfranchisement. People like Alex Minassian and Elliot Rodger, who were taking revenge because they felt deprived of their "right" to romantic and sexual relationships by Chad's and Stacy's.
Agree to disagree but I don't think Eric Harris fits that category.

While we're on the subject of Eric's possible girlfriends, I figured I would join in the conversation. If this is not allowed, please let me know. According to what I have heard on YouTube by a YouTuber that goes by the name of The Curator's Corner, or CVA, he talks about how shortly after the massacre happened at Columbine, a 24-year-old woman named Brenda Parker claimed to have an intimate relationship with Eric and claimed to have met him at a mall in late January of 1998 (a year before the massacre happened). He also goes into detail about how Brenda and a friend were walking around the mall, and Eric and Dylan were following them into a few stores. Brenda stated how after she and Eric have started hanging out on a daily basis and more regularly, they started doing things together like playing video games, going up to the mountains, drink, and of course, going all the way. From what I also know from the video, Brenda started putting everything on the internet, stating that she was in a relationship with Eric and that she knew him. When Brenda found out how old Eric was, which in this case, Eric was sixteen and a half during the time, Brenda started to slowly distance herself from him and of course, the police found out. Since the video is about a little over five minutes long, I don't want to bore everyone by going into EVERY single detail, but it's on The Curator's Corner channel if anyone is interested in finding out more. Yeah, I can see why. I haven't read Cullen's book myself but in The Curator Corner (CVA)'s video, he states that Cullen thought the relationship between Brenda and Eric was a real thing because it was stated in his book that Eric had a 23-year-old girlfriend, meaning Brenda. He also stated that even though Dave Cullen was pretty knowledgable with the Columbine massacre, it was things like that that destroy his credibility, which makes sense.

The one Thing that sometimes interest me as a lot of people her fun whatever prowess they think he had. And they talk about Dylan being a born and rejected. But they don’t talk about the amount of girls that did like Dylan. He had a date even before he went to prom with Robyn.

It’s pretty much known that Robyn did referred to Dylan a lot of times as her boyfriend.

I think it’s just something that leads people to believe been there did that he was a sad puppy dog and Eric was the mean mean angry kid that forced him to do this horrible thing.

I can agree with that. Even though I necessarily don't condone what both Dylan and Eric did at the massacre since I believe what they have done was wrong, I think Dylan went through with it because he wanted to impress Eric, regardless if Eric was the kind of person that forced him to go forward with it or not.

He is talking about real girls when Eric was alive given the context that he would supposedly walk up to these girls at the mall. Can't be fangirls after his death. Plus, the outscoring is definitely talking about chicks and not a game of football.
