1 year ago I came home from school listening to music, thinking it was going to be a normal day. Then I got a pop up on my screen saying there was a shooting and there were multiple fatalites. Ever since then I kept my eyes glued to whatever it was, hoping no one would be killed or injured. While Watching the news I kept thinking about columbine (and they mentioned columbine a min after) Later that night I watched the news again and they said 17 people were killed.

Helena, Jamie, Luke, Meadow ,Cara, Scott, Aaron, Chris, Peter, Martin, Gina, Nicholas D, Alania, Carmen, Alex, Alyssa, and Joaquin. These are the names that will never be forgotten.

Any thoughts and/or feelings about the shooting can be shared here

I remember being at work and pulling up the news on my phone.

It really made me sad also because it just reminded me of when I was 17 and columbine happened and watching that unfold. And I actually posted on my Facebook page that day asking why does this generation need a shooting like this to change things?

That's how I felt too. Sad people think guns are the answer to their anger or depression

Lori Alhadeff’s letter to Alyssa Alhadeff: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

While I didn’t know her, Alyssa seemed like a sweet girl.

Feels like it was only a few days ago that I first heard the news. Strange how time flies.

I remember watching the kids run out of the school live... just like Columbine.
