True. They certainly do. There are parts of the Rampart Range vid that are chilling, as well. The one part when Eric says "Imagine that in someone's fucking brain." Duran is like "Let me get outta the way!" and Dylan is grinning like a stone cold killer. This smile and the words " WOO! HOO! YEAH! " were clear indicators of his enjoyment in killing.

Look at this Face and imagine hiding under a table and being shot at. 
Imagine seeing that smile as he repeatedly shoots you and LAUGHS HYSTERICALLY!
Many ,many school shooters have been described by witnesses as " being like a robot with no facial expression ,no anger , no happiness and no emotion...ZERO EMOTIONS.

Dylan was certainly NOT acting in a robot fashion.
He absolutely loved murdering defenseless children.

Interesting question. I think he would've liked it as it portrayed him emanating anger and vitriol - keep in mind the REB persona - which was a far cry from the more subdued Eric.

When i think about it , ( I am glad you mentioned REB )Eric would not have seen himself as Eric on film. He would have seen REB ,REB the tough guy that no one messes with and probably admires the strong and brutal persona of REB.
I think REB would have felt proud of the message he conveyed to the world.

Uhm...I don't agree: Vodka may be not Dylan's alter ego, but as I was saying a while ago on another topic, Dylan's story about the tough guy who massacres all the preps. I think in this story he shows his alter ego: who he really wanted to be. With the bad-ass attitude and black duster. Not the shy kid who can't talk to girls. There was just no name for his alter ego, or it must be "The God of sadness"

I forgot about Dylan's story too. If Dylan had a " nameless " alter ego , maybe he kept ( unlike REB ) it a secret and only thought about it on his own. If Dylan had told people that his " tough guy " character in the essay ,was in fact a mirror image of himself and was more than just a fantasy ,people may have laughed at him. Saying such things as :
" You ain't no tough guy Dylan !  You are timid and shy !  You do not have a strong personality!  You are just a kid trying to act tough!"

If Dylan did read his essay moments before NBK ,i wonder if Dylan made several copies and kept them close to hand and used them as a kind of " pick me up ." A confidence booster for times of weakness. You have opened a new line of inquiry for me ( sounding like a cop    ) regarding my interest in how E/D psyched themselves up prior to NBK.

I played it back in slow motion at only one tenth of normal running speed.
As you can see , Eric really looks wild eyed and incredibly spooky!

I think Eric's eyes are a kind of weaponry. His eyes are like lasers and very piercing.
I find them a little intimidating and quite eerie. Do you find them spooky ?

Definitely! I, for one, have never seen anyone with eyes as big as that, lol. There is definite aggression and indignation in his eyes.

Does anyone know who wrote the script for " Hitmen For Hire ." Hiring E/D to blow up a bully is unusual.
Hitmen usually shoot their victims in the head and kill them instantly. I am interested to know who came up with the idea of blowing up the bully. I think Eric would have suggested it , but , i don't know.

I'm sure E ( if not also D) wrote the script.  I know Veik said they wrote a lot of their own violent stuff.  To me this is Eric's perverse, warped sense of humor using dialog with veiled references: "we can't use weapons inside the school" (Har Har Har) and "blowing up people is too messy" (smirk   ) each one his trademark foreshadowing dropping hints of what was to come.  I' m sure he silently snickered in class when the video was shown to students.

Yep , i'm sure he found it amusing. When Eric V says he wants to " see the bully blown up " ,Eric H hesitates for a moment and you can see his tongue in cheek reaction ( literally )A kind of " Oh if you only knew what were going to do!
